I think is hard for a teacher to pay attention to all of the kids at the same time and sometimes it can be easy for a bully to take advantage of the situation. I think bullying is a house problem too, we need to talk to our kids how to deal with that as well. my 2 daughters suffer being bully and it was hard until they learn to ignore and tell the teacher the situation. wich the teacher did

most schoolwork is completed in class, but there are tons of online learning platforms that students can access from home that provide opportunities for remediation and enrichment.

The Assistant Principal keeps me informed of any incident when bullying has occurred, and takes the time to use mediations that focus on repairing relationships.

My son and I are new to Sully as of this year. Upon walking in the building, the warmth and initiative of the staff is felt immediately. The school is very blended and tends to many multi cultural families. I was beyond impressed to see the amount of bilingual staff, so willing to communicate and help the parents and students who entered the building. I was also impressed to see how many people from the school knew who my son was by the second day of school. These kids are not just a number, and it's obvious their needs and strengths are something the staff strives to recognize and individualize. I've already had the opportunity to sit down with Colleen, the principal to discuss activities and PTO. I was heard, encouraged to get involved and it was made very clear that we as parents have an open door at all times to express any concerns or comments. I foresee great things at Sully this year with the hands on staff, some parent involvement and getting these kids engaged in all sorts of fun things to enhance their journey of learning.
