Returning to education this year as an Instructional Data Specialist at Churchland Primary and Intermediate has been a wonderful experience. Working under the leadership of Dr. Harris has reignited my passion for this field. She empowers me to fully use my skill set by supporting data-driven conversations with staff and leadership, analyzing trends, and identifying strategies to close achievement gaps.
Dr. Harris fosters a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students, and its clear that the staff genuinely enjoy coming to work each day. I feel safe, supported, and valued in this building, and it truly feels like an elementary school shouldwelcoming, energetic, and focused on students.
Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this school. I would feel confident having my own child attend Churchland Primary and Intermediate under the current leadership and environment.

First I want to say that Churchland Primary is a good school and my daughter has been attending since first grade up until now. The Last 2 years here has been horrible from the admin in the office. I am very disgusted on the attitudes from the ladies in the office. I would have expected better from them. This would have been my daughters last year at Churchland Primary for 6th grade. Not only did they call after 5pm to let me know she wasnt enrolled which she was and to let me know two weeks before school starts. That is a major inconvenience. I would have loved for my daughter to finish her last year there. I believe Churchland Primary needs to do better with their communication and how they operate.

One thing for sure the principle and the teacher tell the students every thing possible when it comes to respect and being nice and orderly. As an active parent I see all the time the children not listening do to bad parenting at home. The ones who act out do so due to no fault of the teachers.

I cant say really because I really don't see it not effective. I guess it is, I have'nt had any issues.

I have not had issues with my child when it comes to this subject, so I can not really confirm or deny. Thankfully I have heard nothing from my son abut bullies.

I rate my experience at Churchland Primary a 10. Every teacher my boys have had was amazingly nice and helpful, my children learn, they made friends, the schools has walls now, and that is so much better for the classroom environment. The front desk is friendly, the nurse, the security guard, the parent liaison and the gym teacher Mrs. Rudolph puts on the BEST ceremonies with the children. I love the school.

About 4 years ago they teachers were giving way to much homework. So much that my son who was in the 3 or 4th grade was swmped an unable to complete his complet and study spelling words. The old principle was very rude and harsh. Ever since Ms. Exum has been the principle things have changed. Home work is not as excessive and the children are not overloaded with work that does'nt even count for a grade.

My children have been at this school since Kindergarten, currently a 4th grader and one at the middle school. Every teacher they have ever had as gone above and beyond to ensure the students have equal opportunities to learn. The teachers have been amazing.

The teachers here are fabulous, however the principal ( Ms. Exum) isn't. My son had a bullying situation here (police were called at one point) and the principal didn't support him, she supported the bully. So please don't report bullying stp her because she won't do anything about it, but offer her support to the wrong side.

The principal supports bullying. She does nothing to help the bullies child.

Fine other than the principal. The teachers are great.

The receptionists at this school are awful, I have never encountered such rude individuals until these two. They are snappy, impatient and unwilling to help with the simplest of tasks. These two are bad enough that I really want to give this school a lower star rating but don't feel it represents the rest of the staff. This school should take note that the front office staff are usually the people that your consumers meet first and you want them to be welcoming and attentive to say the least these ladies are neither of those things.
