My kids have moved on from this school and one that is still there. Bring my kids there feels like home, my children have the support from teachers and staff. Have an opportunity to switch classrooms like in MS when they get to 4th and 5th grade to prepare them for Middle school which I think is great. Once in 5th grade kids have another option to either take computers or play a strings instrument. If your kids have never played an instrument this is a great way for them to start and learn. The office staff are great, the nurse that is there is great Ms. Johnson. She is an experience nursed, the Principal and Assistant Principal seem to be a great team. It is a Title one school which to my knowledge can impact the schools overall score. But I can only talk about my childs education and they have learned alot, and have experienced alot. The school tries to cater to all ethnic backgrounds by having events, books and some staff to help translate and learn about different diversities.

My kids have been attending Sinclair for three years. Most of the teachers are fantastic. The school nurse changes every year, so if your child has a medical condition be prepared to re-explain everything about it every single year to someone who has the barest grasp of first aid. The front office staff are very nearly overworked. Classes are NOT 30+ kids; this school is required to keep classes under 23 per teacher (which is a huge benefit for teachers and students). The recent redistricting has everyone a little confused, but things are smoothing out. School could use more after-school clubs and activities.

They are really bad paying attention the kids at dismissal. We moved from other state December 2012. I let school know, I am the only one picking up my kids, but at dismissal they let my 5 years and 8 years old free in a place we had been only for 3 days, they call the cops, I found my kids hour later on the streets crying, very scared. I ask to speak to the Principle but she was busy, and the lady inside who was all the time nice to me and help me with the registration told my 5 years old, not to run out of school because its dangerous, it is not my son's responsability he never went to school before, he saw everybody walking and he walked, it is the adult taking care of the kids at dismissal, next day was better only with my 5 years old, because my 8 years old was never held. Didn't really like it, and hope it doesn't happen again with other kids, we must keep kids safe, thanks God I found my kids. Good luck.

Some of the teachers are okay but the County just re-zoned the schools and are going to increases the class size. You already have 30+ kids to a class.

My kids love this school. Great Teachers and Great Principal. I'm sad the zoning is changing and my kids have to go to Sudley but it looks like Sudley is a good school too!

I could not be more pleased with this school or all the help they have provided me . After a recent move from another state my children were enrolled in this school. After enrolling my children at Sinclair it was brought to my attention that my son was not reading on the same grade level as others his age. This had never been told to me by his prior school. He was placed in the Reading Recovery program and within weeks the teacher had him reading at his grade level and with confidence. It was also discovered that my son may need glasses. The school went above and beyond anything I have ever seen or known of to help with finding a eye doctor to see my son as soon as possible and ensure he would not have to wait to get the glasses he needed. It is one thing to help a family/student with things regarding school work but this school goes above and beyond with the help the children need outside the school. Both my children love this school as well as the teachers , friends , and activities that this school provides. The teachers here have a love for education and helping students , and will at all cost go above and beyond to ensure a student succeeds all educational expectations.
