When I moved to the community two years ago, I had reservations about this school based on comments on Niche and other rumors, but i can tell you first hand as a parent if a HS teen this has been an extremely great experience. Everyone seems to live what they do and the staff and administrators are very supportive. My son plays sports so he loves the school and he has lots of friends. This year our football team will be going to state so we have a lot to celebrate, hopefully, the other sports can follow suite. Keep doing a great job North Stafford and parents I encourage you to get involved with your child's school career and if you have free time consider volunteering!

Nothing wrong with school or teacher or kids. One of the greatest ways for parents to help their children learn English is by attempting to learn English themselves. When parents are able to use English at home, more opportunities will arise for children to practice speaking and listening. Parents and children practicing their new skills together can be a great motivator.Even parents who are fluent in English can demonstrate the importance of learning by focusing on an area of improvement, such as studying a difficult novel to learn complex vocabulary or bettering their writing skills.

I can really tell the difference now that we have returned to full time in person learning. Due to health concerns, and the uncertainty of how and when kids would go back during the pandemic, we had pulled him for his Sophomore year and he attended George Washington University's Online High School. It served it's purpose, it was not a wasted year, however, my student could not wait to return to North Stafford. He was never one to participate (except for swim team), and now he is involved in many extra curriculars. He said he missed the teachers and administration, the kids, the community of North Stafford. As a current junior, he is very dialed in and working with his school counselor to make sure he is achieving what is needed to make him competitive in the schools that he wishes to apply. This re-entry, for the lack of a better word, from the chaos of pandemic school, to everyone coming back at once, many people have placed blame where it does not belong, at the school level on the administration and teachers. They have worked amazing well together as a team to assure the kids were in school and parents are kept in the loop. I'm thankful that of the choices, we were fortunate to be assigned to North!

Excellent. My daughter graduated with honors and was accepted to IBA, W&M and two other schools of her choice. AP coursework at NSHS left her well prepared to take on the rigour of University coursework.

North Stafford High School is amazing. Everyone here at this school bonds like family, it's just such a great community to be in. All the Staffulty cares about everyone and we have the best administration here, it's just amazing. For example, our school does a thing called a "Senior Run" where when you get to be a senior, the first week of school on a Friday all the senior gather all spirited up and run around the entire school! We use whistles, air horns, silly string, etc. and just have a blast. This has been a tradition here at North Stafford, for 11 years. It's also been a tradition to watch the senior run. It's a lot more fun than it sounds. But if you are deciding to go to a Stafford School, North Stafford is the best Stafford!

North Stafford High School is a excellent choice for my child. I was looking for a academically challenging school with a wonderful sports program that offered a lot of clubs and extra activities. This school fit the bill. The teachers and volunteers are amazing and my child and many of his friends thrived in this positive environment. If you live in the area I highly recommend North Stafford High School.
