My daughter started at this school and was selected as a gifted student. Were so proud of her, so far, its been a great experience.

The staff at Landstown Elementary care about the students and family. The new administration in the school is doing a wonderful job. My children love their teachers

The special education needs new teachers who actually care about their job my child only went for 2 days before a rude teacher approached me a bout a situation that accommodated her and not my child she rolled her eyes at me and said rude things pertaining to the situation they are very rude at the school and avoid fixing things . Its a bad experience for a first time parent putting their child in school .

As a parent with multiple children in this school district, I have seen a mix of positives and challenges over the past four years. On the positive side, the teachers at the school have been nothing short of wonderful. They consistently demonstrate kindness, empathy, patience, and adaptability, which has greatly benefited my children's learning experiences.
Unfortunately, our interactions with the administration, particularly the principal and assistant principal, have been less than satisfactory. They seem to lack a deep understanding of the systems and processes in place for struggling children and could benefit from additional communication training. This became painfully clear when one of my children, who was in the process of being officially diagnosed with a learning difficulty, faced severe disciplinary measures instead of receiving the support he needed.
This experience has been disheartening and frustrating, highlighting a significant area for improvement within the school's administrative framework. The school needs to ensure that ALL staff, not just teachers, are equipped to handle diverse learning needs and challenges effectively.

This school used to be a great school when Mr. Hoffman, the previous principal was there. After he resigned and the school runs by new principal, everything has gone down south.
All good teachers that my children loved had quit due to school management and leadership issues within 1.5 year.
My son is in 5th grade, he got verbally bullied so many times by mean kids in his class calling him names to the point that he wanted to hurt him self, and started to believe what they said to him.
Unfortunately, no one in this school takes the bullying seriously but so quickly to jump in conclusion that he might be dangerous to himself and others. I would be angry, miserable, and self-esteem would be destroyed too if people repeatedly being mean, calling me weird, disgusting, stupid, etc other than my name.
This is very sickening, and of course my son is a minority kid that is why nothing has been resolved over the bully situations. Those bullies are the ones who need mental health check.

Lack of transparency among staff and families, unqualified teachers for both the general education and specialized instruction. Children are widening their gap at this school while the admin hires unqualified staff. Children are labeled and blamed for adult problems.

Excellent school district with caring teachers and staff members. My daughter has been going here for 3 years now and has grown so much in that time, they really take their time with each student and it shows. I love how they update their app on how your child is doing through their day and with any issues that may come up. It is a great way to communicate with each teacher and our child loves it.

Landstown is a great school! My daughter is entering 3rd grade & loves her school/teachers! She still talks about her 1st grade teacher because of the memorable impression that teacher left on her. Teachers at this school actually care & love their jobs because it shows in everything they do.

My daughter just finished 1st grade and I am very happy with her teacher and the caring staff there. The new principal is wonderful and is very involved with the students.

I have two children attending Landstown Elementary and we have been there for 3 years. We transferred here with the military in 2008. I have always had a wonderful expeirence with the staff and with my childrens teachers. One of my children has a reading disability and the special education teachers are amazing. He was diagnosed in 1st grade at Landstown. The staff was so supportive during the testing and interviewing sessions with myself and my child.
