It could be an okay school if ALL of the teachers were good to the children, but they are not. The principle treats us like 5-year-olds and has no respect for us. The school is very cheap and not clean AT ALL. It is literally falling apart everywhere. Our principal and vice principal and most of the teachers are not very nice, they don't understand kids at ALL. The school was much better 2 years ago, when the principal and staff were different. I do not recommend this school. They are lucky with the 2.

The teachers and staff are great, but the principal thats a different story. She thinks she can talk to some parents any way she wants. Shes very moody. The principal before her was nice though.

Loved all the teachers my children had at this school. Many specialize in tag students. Mrs. Hagerty and the 4th grade team were exceptional, but they were all wonderful.

The counselor at this school has many programs supporting character and respect. Shes wonderful.

The principal is proactive to parents needs, even getting the city to install sidewalks to help keep kids safe walking to school.

The teachers here all took their time to get to know each of my kids individually and address their special needs and learning differences.

Ive never heard any of my children speak of a bullying situation at this school.

I would give this school a much higher rating than it shows. It deserves to be at least a 9. Ive had three children attend this school and are all scoring very high on state testing. They were military friendly and helped my kids transition well in and out of the school. My kids all got into advanced classes after attending this school. I highly recommend this school and Fairfield neighborhood.

My kids had a great homework balance. They were never overwhelmed.

Our experience has been very extensive having children that are also gifted and had special needs. The way the administration, teachers and staff deal with any and all situations is how I would and hope to see all issues and communications would be.

Fairfield is a great school, the teachers and staff are very kind and welcoming. I haven't had any complaints since my daughter began attending in the middle of her 2nd grade year and she is in 4th grade now.

Fairfield teachers are outstanding! They always go above and beyond for their students! We have been blessed to have many teachers as our 3 children went through Fairfield. They all treated our children as their own. We love being a part of the Fairfield family!

The school is small enough that they can teach beyond the sol tests. Thus, it is not just the teachers who are teaching values.

Fairfield is a wonderful small school. The class sizes are small, the teachers are caring, and the administration is dedicated and thoughtful.

The teachers in this school are great; the principal and assistant principal are average. Both are new at their position and it shows. The PTA is good, but there is not enough leadership/follow-up and things were lacking this year. It is a small school and getting to know everyone is very easy, both teachers, assistants and children/parents.

I have a second grader and a kindergardener at Fairfield Elementary and I am very pleased about their individual progress. It is wonderful to see how they are learning and I know it is the teachers making the difference. School is organized, students are challenged, teachers are serious about their job.. you see the principal engaged, PTA almost over the top, which is not a bad thing. I feel my kids are in a great and safe environment to help them learn. Not in love of gifted services at the schooll, otherwise would rate excellent.
