Military family and worried about yet another transition into a new school. My kids were incredibly welcomed and have had a great educational experience. Principal and teachers are so easy to work with. Have loved it!!

We are a military family and our son has in his fifth year at PAES. The principal is PHENOMIAL, as well as being as down to earth and professional as they come; the teaching staff is engaged and caring; and the PTA is active, friendly and inviting. Students participate in conferences they lead as they take an active place in their goal setting and progress tracking, and teachers strive to provide truly personalized learning environments for all students (Gifted, average and students with special needs like). Concerns are addressed and resolved reasonably and within a timely manner with the students best interest at heart. You could not ask for a better quality school and its a pleasure to be a Seagull Family.

I adore Princess Anne Elementary. Everyone here is hard working with common goal to make our students great students and great citizens. Our teachers are amazing. Only good things to say about PAE.

depends on which teacher. Some are great. Others are very lacking. They could use better training in dealing with challenged students.
And they could use a better administration that supports them in their challenges. This school has not been reviewed since this new principal came on.

The principal GD is the most uncaring, unprofessional principal I've dealt with. She is unfriendly and doesn't know the first thing about being a principal. They need to replace her ASAP!!

My daughter went to this school for her entire Elementary career and there isn't enough room on this website to list all the great things there are about PAES. From the Janitorial staff, to the administration, and of course the teachers... hands down, they are the best the state of Virginia has to offer!!! The PTA stays involved throughout the year and host a ton of great, family fun events. As a military child, the PAES staff went out of their way to make sure she was well adjusted and was able to continue to meet the demands of the curriculum while I was gone. She was never just a face in the crowd and received the attention she needed from each and everyone on of her teachers. Because of their handwork and dedication, she is well prepared not only academically but also behaviorally to succeed middle school. PAES is the reason we decided to stay in this area of Virginia Beach.... that way our son can have the same great start to his education!

My daughter has been attending this school since first grade. She is now a fourth grader. I am impressed with the warm atmosphere that the school has. The teachers are also caring and dedicated. The are mnay special events such as the annual 'ice cream social' and 'BINGO and pizza Friday nights' that parents and children can enjoy together. You will not be disappointed if your child attends this school.

My kids loved this school. There is great parental involvement. This school services neighborhoods like Princess Anne Woods, and the South Part of Holland Road like Litchfield Manor and Settlers Rd.
