If you are a present parent and you advocate for your child, this is not the school for you nor your child. Being a spokesperson/advocate will cause you to receive backlash from teachers and administrators at this school. This school is supposed to be a prestigious school under the umbrella of an Achievable Dream. However, the only dream that is Achievable is not for the students but for the school in that they try to recommend programs for the students so that they can receive money. Communication between some of the teachers and parents is sub par. Please do your thorough research before choosing this school to register your precious child into.

I left this school about a year ago to go to middle school. For anyone looking for the student perspective, it's not that great, I made good friends, but I also went to school almost every day in fear. Everything else was ok though.

I have two children goes to Seatack and we love Seatack.
Teachers are very professional and caring , gifted teacher and counselor are amazing , director of Achievable dream academy is awesome and principal is so kind and caring .
I have no complain at all for staff there.
When there are incidents they respond very fast and take care of students and cases.
They take bully seriously.
They teach more life lesson and manners than anywhere else .
Seatack holds lots of family events .
They encourage students to read books and offers books often.
They have field trip average once a month no cost at all to families.
They have been working with many colleges through partnership in VA to offer students scholarship when they go to college just because they graduate Seatack elementary .
I think this school is great not just great staff and program but for the future as well.
You dont have to be zoned student to go there .
One of my childrens former teacher told me students are coming from all over Virginia Beach.
Its a small school and staff member knows students by faces and feel like its a family!

Nothing but great the teachers and staff are the best.

Everything is done online which is nice and convenient but I don't think there is much tracking being done on the behalf of the teachers.

My child has been at the school for two grades and I thought the program sounded great but as the years have gone by I don't know if this was the best decision for my child.

That is what I assume they try to foster in their students with the growth mindset concept.

I guess this is referring to the Principal , Assistant Principal and this other man Mr. Middleton, which I am not sure what is role is but he is very involved in many of the actives. He should be the Principal or as least the Assistant Principal he was the one who introduced the program to me. I feel as if something is fishy about the leadership at the school I don't know what or WHO for that matter is running the show. It could be my lack of knowledge as to how leadership is designed at an elementary school but I don't think so. My instinct tells me I am right for thinking the way I do.

This school has excellent teachers, effective and caring administrators and a program that should be modeled in all schools.

My son went here for Kindergarten and then we moved placing us in a different school for his year of 1st grade. I was so disappointed with the school he attended for 1st Grade (Three Oaks) that I applied out of zone for my son and my entering Kindergarten daughter to go back to Seatack. The school and staff members are pehnomenal. They are incredibly focused on students' learning, motivation and building self-esteem. The teachers are very available to parents for input, resources and feedback. My children have thrived in this supportive and challenging learning environment. We are military and moving this summer and I am devestated to leave this school and the amazing teachers behind!
