My son attends their prek program and has a disability. He was touched inappropriately inside his pants by another student on more than one occasion. The assistant principal handled this report extremely poorly and seemed to try to brush it under the rug. In the end they ultimately blamed my sons disability as the reason for not removing the other child from his classroom because he wasnt able to tell them exactly when it happened. I have already spoken with another school and will be submitting an out of zone request purely because of the way this was handled by the assistant principal. No documentation was made when we met to make the report. She undermined my child throughout the entire process. She also consistently lied and made inaccurate statements on the Title IX form, that she corrected when called out on. This is not someone who belongs as a head of a school.

The guy who checks ids and deals with the buses is rude and extremely out of line with the parents. I would consider him a bully and a horrible example for our kids.

If we could afford to send our kids to a different school we would...thankfully we only have a few years here and wont be at parkway for long. The staff is rude and does not follow through with tasks asked of parents and gives no school information out leaving parents in the dark unless its for a fundraiser for the school making them money

... There is a tendency to avoid and steamroll parents who are action oriented to use their words.

Our son will be starting 4th grade in Sep. He scored in the top10 percent in all categories on last years SOL. Thus far we have been very happy with the teachers. My wife and I believe that you must be proactive with your child's education. Very impressed with the principal .
