I have 2 daughters that have been at this school. We attended virtually last year and this year in person. My daughters are flourishing and enjoy coming to school each day. I am grateful to call this school our family. Thank you to the teachers, the admin and the support staff. Our bus driver is amazing. I trust all the staff. Thank you Glenwood! We appreciate you.

The past years with Glenwood Elementary School here in Virginia Beach have not been all pleasant and easy. From the principal, vice principals, front desk personnels, and special education teachers have been awful. From the virtual classes now back to face to face with special education teachers just doing minimal to get by. Neglecting daily routines, passing off students doing good in the reports but in reality there's no improvements, special education teachers relying 80% of the time for their TA's to teach plus do all that grunt works which could be fair if the salary was switched. Transportation department have been all time low in moral and having to deal with unhappy & angry drivers/monitors is not fun. The blame game and pointing fingers at others instead of actually doing what hired/paid for is not conducive in this school. Definitely not recommend this school, keep searching.

Too long to mention all the unethical things said & done here. Basing with 2nd grade virtual Special Education experience, exclusion from school activities, male principal, teachers starting late & dismissing class early. Biased views of the male principal and cover ups.

This school is wonderful and I am so happy my daughter goes to a school that promotes a safe and positive learning environment.

My youngest son was sent to Glenwood for PreK and he is a changed boy. My son has improved so much in such a sort time. The school and staff are very welcoming. They work with parents and foster a phenomenal learning environment. In fact I loved them so much I requested an out of zone for my older son and looking to buy a house in the Glenwood area.

Very happy with the school! My son went to kindergarten here. He came from another district and was a little behind. He really caught up when he came here!
