If your child is not a child of a teacher or board member, don’t go here. There are 2 classes of students at this school and those who are on the outside group just pay the bills so the incompetent administrators and teachers can do whatever they feel like doing - after of course they pray to the God that agrees with them. The school is rampant with nepotism and self-righteous, narrow-minded, lazy personnel. Choose public school. Choose anything else.

This is not the school for you if your child doesn’t fit inside a very small box. Some of the teachers aren’t even degree’d and don’t have a clue on how to manage children. We struggled with the placement of our child this year with a teacher who said their experience was “ they homeschooled their 3 children” and a new assistant teacher who my child said didn’t like any of the students because “ they made her miss her lunch”. When issues started to arise we asked the resource director about a classroom change with a degreed teacher and we were told that wasn’t an option even with a doctor’s note.

They call themselves a Christian school but some of the staff don’t even act like Christians. Some of the staff don’t know how to have compassion and give grace to young children.

If your child has ANY special needs like anxiety, sensory processing, or neurodivergence, then this is not the school for you. The Resource director has no clue what she is doing and they “do not have the resources” to help children cope with stress. I am very disappointed with how my child was treated at this school. All they care about is their image. Not actually helping children to thrive and learn and grow.

Horrible! I spoke up and wanted to be heard about how it’s not even a two month stay and meetings already due to a child being there age? Asked to leave because the principal through a HUGE tantrum because a working parent did not have time to meet.

If you want the best for your little one do not do early care because they will use your child as an experiment.

I’m sorry I out my baby through that and look all the issues they were having the other teacher LOVE her- trust me they are alllll for there staff and not the parent.

Great place to work and horrible place to send your kid.

BEWARE and look on yelp or google and please pay attention to the negatives.

There is no boundaries between parents and students. Many teachers are also the parents, which can cause unfair advantages to other parents because they cannot spend time with their children.

I’m not sure if all the teachers/substitute teachers have at least a four-year bachelor’s degree. PE teacher should be more than one teacher.

I love this school! My children have attended since 2011 and every year the teachers and staff have been amazing. I feel so comfortable dropping them off in the morning that they will be loved and educated in a safe and Godly environment.

Wonderful school! My son is in his 4th year at Shores and my daughter is in kindergarten. Puts my mind at ease knowing my children are in safe environment full of dedicated teachers and staff.

My son just started at this campus for 7th grade. As a boy who tends to suffer from anxiety when it comes to change, he was quite nervous about a new school. I have to say, he has loved it so much. He comes home excited about what he is learning and really enjoys his teachers. The fellow students have been welcoming and inclusive. The focus on Godly aspects in all areas of teaching is a plus. The assistant principal saw me recently and knew my son by name and was checking with me to see how he is adjusting to make sure we were all doing well with the change. We have been so happy with his progress and his genuine love for his school.

Atlantic Shores is one of a kind. My 3 children have blossomed and grown academically, spiritually and emotionally from their time at Atlantic Shores. As a parent, I know that every day my children are being loved and taught from a Biblical perspective. They are exposed to multiple opportunities daily to learn in Specialty classes from experienced educators. Every teacher invests in the lives of my children and the joy of the Lord fills the school. Atlantic Shores values excellent education, Christ centered learning and family relationships. They are excellent communicators and value parental participation. I am blessed to be secure in the fact that my children are gaining more than an education, they are growing in character. Atlantic Shores is an amazing school.

The teachers are phenomenal, they truly care and love their students, without question, and teachers are faithful to communicate and work with parents. I wish i could say the same about all those working in administrative positions. I pray that they work better at communication.

I highly recommend this school for anyone! They truly care about the whole child, not just their academics, or just their social skills. The are so caring and knowledgable and I would hate to have my child growing up in any other environment. Our whole family has been blessed!
