Wouldn’t recommend younger kids to go . Teachers n staff do not have safety as top priority . And do not look after kids closely . 4 occasions incidents have happened to my child . Lead teacher has no sympathy and makes excuses

My child is excelling and he loves going to school. He is reading very well, he knows and can speak Spanish, and he definitely knows the Bible. He knows more than the average Kindergarten student. He got a great foundation in 5K. He has continued to soar in Kindergarten.
Great teachers and staff. They treat you and your child like family.

They don't care about you child. Only about your paycheck. I was warned that my child had the possiblity of being held back if I brought her here. Her new school hasn't retained her but she is behind in reading and math. I have to now pay for a tutor to keep her up with state standards. Run! Someone said tour, don't tour...run!

I don't know what they do about bullying other than letting the bully stay. In fairness, they may address the issue but it's clear that they don't follow through because I didn't see any change in children behavior nor my child's complaints about being hit.

Many children with special needs who obviously are not getting the help that they need. You can see how they accept them for the money and low enrollment. The teachers look frustrated and many many parents complain about how their children are hurt by the kids with behavioral issues.

Based on how the teachers carry themselves, how my child's vibrant personality has begun to dwindle and the unprofessionalism of the principal...how can they promote integrity, compassion and respect? I vehemently warn that you do not even waste your time signing your child up. The school is outdated and blatantly lies about what they will offer our children. How can they offer anything when they don't even update the school's interior and materials? They are now offering classes that the children aren't learning from! They don't have the money or resources despite frequent fundraising (done by the parents) and ridiculously high tuition (based on what they offer). I must say that my child is thriving in their new school environment and is actually asking questions about his faith rather than reciting Bible verses that he wasn't taught to understand at Calvary. Don't take my word for it, take a tour, look and hear for yourself and ask the RIGHT educational questions that WILL stump that clueless principal who lacks passion and understanding (which are the core values and prerequisites for being in a school).

The higher grade teachers have better reviews. But the lower grade teachers are horrible. They yell at your children and are rough. Very old school way of disciplining. I've had my children complain about the teachers yelling all day and telling her that she was going to be retained because "she doesn't get it". No use complaining to the principal because he is clueless with no educational background and doesn't seem to care what his teachers do. The good teachers left and now I see why.

This school could care less about how your child is doing with homework. They worksheet the mess out of them and none of it supports critical thinking. While some teachers do try, they aren't adequately trained to help your child.

My child has attended CCA since 2005. CCA has challenged every ability to the fullest and that is greatly appreciated. GO CCA!
