This is my son's second year at Rollingwood and we love it. His preschool teachers were so kind, friendly, and fun. His pre-k teachers are also wonderful. Besides all the fun and educational activities he does in the classroom we also like that he learns Spanish, uses Osmo on an iPad, checks out a book from the library at the school each week, and loves the playground. Every morning the kids are greeted at the door by a smile and kind words. My son is not a fan of shirts with a high collar so having to wear a polo shirt was really his only complaint. Rollingwood is definitely a unique and special place.

my son attended Rollingwood for two years. It was an excellent experience for him. The staff is outstanding and they enjoy what they do. It's is a safe, small environment, that helps to unlock a love of leaning and discovery in the students. They also get outside a lot. Which is so great for little guys with unending energy! Really, I cannot say enough good about this school! I highly recommend it.

The teachers and staff are all very warm and welcoming. I love how small and close knit the atmosphere is- it truly has a family feel. I love the small staff because I quickly knew everyone and could get some great feedback about my child's day when I pick her up. I work later and don't get to pick her up until 430 or 5 most days and when I arrive she is usually only one of about 5 kids left at that time, which is so much more calm and pleasant to arrive to than 20+ like we experienced at prior schools. They have also been out of this world phenomenal in helping me work with my child to be successful when she was showing some negative behaviors at school. It was never about punishment or how disruptive she was becoming, but truly focused on how we could work to make sure SHE was happy and successful and enjoyed school. And she quickly turned around with their help. Such a refreshing attitude to have in preschool! It's set in a restored historic house and has such a cute, homey vibe to it. The play area is huge with tons of space to run around outside. They even have swings which is becoming hard to find in a school! And it is tucked back in a nice neighborhood- truly a hidden gem in Virginia Beach!!
