I doubt this school will be in existence in the next 15 years. The school board is controlled by the church and is taking the tuition money instead of putting it into the school. Parents have voiced concerns only to be gaslighted and lied to. Technology is nonexistent here. The head of school and principal are clueless and are not pushing to make the school better or moving forward. They lack in extracurriculars of any kind. There truly are none at all. The teachers consist of alumni who sadly express frustration as well as to the lack of progress. Summit academy is right down the street and is thriving so do yourself a favor and take your child and money where they matter.

The upper school administration is unorganized. The administration does not allow the teachers to have any classroom management. Every little incident goes directly to the principal. She is in unreasonable and cant handle communication efforts to help support your child. Any disagreement with what she says and your child will be kicked out the school without warning. With all the money you pay the parents should have the right to voice their concerns. Once they get rid of her Im sure the school would be a lot better.

I attended Hampton Christian for 8 years (from 5th through 12th grades). My experience there has changed my life forever. The teachers and administrators are genuinely caring and very professional. Because of the education I received at HCA, I remained at the top of my class during my college years, and I recently earned a Master's degree, graduating with a 4.0. Most importantly, I am a strong Christian today because of the love and encouragement of my teachers. I enthusiastically recommend this school to anyone considering Christian education.

Hampton Christian Academy really cares for their students. All of the staff members have a tremendous heart for the Lord and they so selflessly serve. HCA the past couple of years has really moved forward and done some innovative things. Kids now have clubs, life groups, and a ton of new classes that are available. There are some great new teachers, and the veteran teachers seem energized. HCA partners with the parents to form mature Christians and they do an excellent job at preparing students for success at the collegiate level. I wish more people would know what a great school HCA is and I wish I could have went to a school like this when I was growing up!

Hampton Christian is an amazing school with caring teachers and staff. We looked at HCA a few years ago after our oldest son had a bullying incident at our less than stellar, local public school. We felt welcomed immediately and now all three of my children attend there. It has small classes and encourages parental involvement. I love that a Christian worldview perspective is integrated into every subject. They allow my kids a safe atmosphere where they can ask tough questions and work out their Christian faith. The school has relaxed its dress code this year. The kids attend chapel in school t-shirts and jeans!

This school is FABULOUS. Teachers really care. My daughter has grown LEAPS AND BOUNDS academically and spiritually in ONE year... far more than I was able to accomplish homeschooling or putting her in the best public school in the city. I LOVE Hampton Christian Schools.

Hampton Christian has been a great school! My daughter started with 4K and is now entering 2nd grade. The teachers are wonderful, the administration is great. My daughter reads on a 6th grade level and tested well above normal in all subjects. She brought home straight As all year long thanks to the dedication and love given by the staff. We never thought we could afford to send her to a private christian school, but God keeps making a way :)

Wonderful School! If you are looking for a school that teaches the love of Christ than look no further. Bullying is not tolerated - which was very important to our family. You know the teachers heart is for the child to do their best. The staff is very friendly and always makes you feel welcome.

It was very disappointing and devastating for my child to attend Hampton Christian HS. After a 3 hr admission interview, I expected more support academically, discipline wise etc... There are many students with behavioral problems, and poorly trained teachers to handle them. My child was not protected from bullies and was penalize for standing up for himself. Also, no effort was made to provide resources for students needing extra help. They were a bit discriminating. Very discouraging for a school that is supposed to be based on Christian values. They let my child down.
