Village Green Day School-Great Falls

My toddler was enrolled here for over a year starting at 12 months and initially I was happy with the preschool, however, the last 4-5 months was beyond unsatisfactory. It felt like it became a game of shuffling staff and children around instead of a fun learning environment. My child consistently came home with mucus crusted to his face that only came off after warm baths and on a few occasions with diaper rash. Many of the long time teachers are wonderful, but from my experience some of the assistants were under qualified and the administrators were more focused on raising tuition on a frequent basis than focusing on childcare. Speak with other families that attend VGDS before you enroll your child as there’s been a recent exodus of children at the time of this post.

If your child is 4+ this facility will likely suit your needs as they can fend for themselves by that age. The premium tuition of this facility is warranted only by its location. The building is older and quirky, to access some classrooms you have to pass through other classrooms or walk outside to access them. The outdoor play space for the youngest children is an asphalt courtyard with mulch, dirt and bushes.

After previously sending our kids to a competitor preschool in Great Falls, Village Green has been an amazing improvement. The teachers are fantastic - they have made learning so much fun for our kids while maintaining a nurturing environment. The curriculum is fantastic and will more than prepare them for Kindergarten and my kids make us leave early every single day so that they can be the first ones there and not miss a minute

Very happy with our experience so far. Our child seems to be learning a lot, making friends, and LOVES going to school.

The administration is completely inflexible and appears to be much more about making money than making life a little easier on working parents. I had heard from friends who have their son in the after care program that the quality of care was disappointing, but I enrolled my children in the summer program anyway as it was the closest and best option to have them together at that time. However, when my situation changed and I needed to withdraw from the camp over 60 days prior to starting the program, they would not refund the $700 I paid for the first week of the camp. When I told my kids' current preschool about this, they couldn't believe that a daycare would do business in this way. Parents should know that there are other options that are much more friendly and flexible to the needs of working parents!!

My child has learned so much since school has started. She went from being a shy child who would barely leave my side, to a happy little girl who skips into school waving goodbye! She enjoys all of the hands on learning that is presented by wonderful Pre-Kindergarten teachers and we couldn't be happier with the program!

We were thrilled with our son s Junior Kindergarten year at Village Green Day School, Great Falls. Both his teachers were absolutely fabulous. They were able to constantly challenge our son while making teaching fun. He LOVES school and learning, and we feel lucky that he was in a class this year with teachers who motivated him to be the very best he could be. These teachers are the teachers that students (and parents) look back on and recognize as being unique, inspiring, and pivotal they to their academic life. They really are top-notch!!! Watching our son read, write, do math, talk about current events, discuss science, sing, dance, and draw is exciting. We know he is leaving Village Green Day School with skills above and beyond kindergarten expectations. We are so appreciate that these fabulous teachers were able to tap into our son's strengths and enable him to make the amazing strides he has.

We are just about to finish another year at Great Falls Village Green Day School and we couldn't be happier with our experience this past year. The administration is warm, friendly and always available to talk. Our children always come home talking about what they did at school and the things that they learned. We are already looking forward to next year!

Village Green is a wonderful school with caring administrators, owners and staff. We have attended several different schools over the years, and this is by far the best one hands down. I only wish I lived in the area 10 years ago when my oldest was in preschool. My youngest two children amazed me with the creative projects they came home with and knowledge that they learned. They became very confident and self assured through the loving environment that makes up Village Green. The teaching staff is very experienced and you feel like they are a member of your family after each school year. My children were greeted by name at carpool, and were excited to attend each day. The administrators were warm, welcoming and were always reachable. The school's vision truly focuses on each child as a whole, and not as a number. Will continue to recommend this school to anyone who has children, and wants a preschool experience that will make a difference in your children's lives.

Awful Awful. No flexibility for withdrawal when things don't work out. Loss $4.8K for 2 weeks of attendance. Mgmt and founders don't care.

This is an outstanding school in all areas. My son went here for 4 years and each year he made tremendous progress in his social, emotional and educational development. The administration and staff are simply the best there is and if we could have stayed past kindergarten we would have with no hesitation. I highly recommend this school to any parents who are looking for a warm, welcoming, small environment in which their child will excel. I simply can't say enough good things about our experience at Village Green and I give my highest recommendation to it.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at this school. Caring teachers and staff who focus on the whole package. Excellent academics and just a really lovely place. Very community oriented and a beautiful facility. Highly recommend it!

This is a wonderful place to send your young children. The Administration and the Teachers are smart, dedicated, and warm people. The quality of the education is recognized by the elementary schools the Village Green children move on to attend. Village Green children go on to be top notch students in top notch schools. It all starts where they are nurtured, encouraged and given a love of learning both at home and in school. Village Green is a school that partners with parents and welcomes the whole family. The friends you make here will be the friends you hold on to long after your family has outgrown the Village Green age range.

A safety school for those who live in GF. Poor academics, decent childcare, a lot of talk behind backs. This is a social school.
