Great school, some issues have been swept under the rug when it comes to behavior. I dont trust the school system at all so be mindful

Lets see I spent every week getting threatened by the principal of this school with suspension of my child if I did not do what she wanted. Like cut my child's school day from 3:05 pm to 12:40. She did suspend him when I said no. The suspension letter was written on a Wednesday, but the alleged incident did not occur until two days after the letter was written and signed by the principal. Gee! How did she know my child was gonna commit this alleged violation two days in advance? Is the principal a fortune teller?

No, they do not. In fact, they allow non-special needs children to bully special needs children without any formal punishment.

They condone non-special needs children bully special needs children. But will spend a special needs child if they even breath the wrong way.

My son just finished first grade and I couldn't be happier with this school. His teacher Mrs. Rawls was AMAZING!! She's so sweet and cares deeply for her students. Everyone was very polite and events were always well organized and their updates as far as bus schedules, picture days, literally everything was informed to parents. This school definitely pushes their children to be the best they can be. The school is always clean. Beyond pleased with this school!

Because this is a Title 1 school, the teachers are required to teach curriculum, in my opinion, that is not age appropriate for the students. The teachers are very friendly and care about the students, but seem to be stuck conforming to what politicians feel is best for our children to learn.

I love this school! The staff is great and very involved with the students. My son is an excellent reader all thanks to the school and their way of educating the children.

My four year old son who has DS goes here and I LOVE the teachers and staff at the school. They are all very nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. Especially with the special needs kids. I would recommend this school to everyone who has a child, especially those with special needs.
