I could not have chosen a better school to send my children to! My oldest attended the 3-day 4's, 5-day pre-K, and we opted to send him to Kindergarten here as well- what amazing progress he's made, reading well above grade level, confident and with an amazing love for school- All due to the amazing teachers at this little school. Our youngest attended 3-day and will be going to pre-k this fall as well. It's money well spent for their social and educational development. They get great play time balanced with lessons as well as chapel, music, and P.E. time. The director runs a tight, but family-friendly ship- I couldn't imagine a better place to have started my kids school career off with. They love it and I feel confident they are in loving, caring, SAFE hands when they are there. 5 stars in every way!

We had a very negative experience with Haymarket Baptist school. The director is very difficult to get along with...and extremely concerned with the appearance of the school vs. the importance of the individual child's needs. She has a pompous attitude toward parents. One particular email said to parents- do not show up to visit the school before open house because our teachers rooms will not have her stamp of approval in appearance. I regret sending my child here-though it was for one year, it was such a bad year. When it came time for my second child to enter a program, we chose the 4r's preschool, also in Haymarket. This was a loving, kind, child-focused, play and educational program. The teachers were so wonderful. Really think before sending your child to HBCPK....I wish I could go back and change that year that we were there and have our child go somewhere else.

HBCPK is a wonderful school. Words cannot express how pleased we are with our experience. Our son has attended the Pre-K program this year and loves it! He has a Fall birthday and just missed the cut-off for Kindergarten. We wanted to send him to a program that would prepare him for next year. Little did we know that we would be choosing HBCPK for Kindergarten next year too! The school provides a well-rounded, Christ-centered, and high quality education using the A beka program. The loving teachers go above and beyond to help their students learn and have open communication with the parents. We are excited for our little one to join the 2s program next year. We feel blessed to have found a school that feels like a loving and supportive family.
