It's my first day at this school for 6th grade and I have Ms.Farran as my homeroom she is a W it's a ok school not that bad the sandwich at lunch was good but the bus was too overcrowded and tbh the only thing bad about this school is that they decided to make it that you can only use half the hallway and it gets really crowded

My experience at reagan was good overall if you didnt get on a bad side of the teacher youll be fine other than that i loved the school but its really sad it was cut short becuase i had to move only been there for 1.5 years. Another thing about this school is that its fine in academics but if you dont have friends then its really not fun,and also dont let them talk bad about you because if they do they arent youre friends thats why i dropped my old friends because they were hateful to me ,only reason why i still talk to them is because i felt sad being alone.

Let me say something. All these reviews are saying this school stinks or this school is the best but I would say, as an ACTUAL student, it’s just your normal middle school. I mean sure, the hallways are crowded like 99.9% of the time, and I hear cursing from students AND teachers AND adults sometimes, but still, it’s not too bad. I would say the negative reviews might have been a bit too much. The bullying at least has decreased in my grade. Also, yes there are some substitutes that are manipulative, but not all the subs are like that. I would say this school still has room for improvement, but then again, the school is not that old compared to other middle schools I have heard of. Overall, I would say this school is ok. I still wouldn’t recommend it if you have claustrophobia, social anxiety, or any other mental conditions that results you not liking people because this school is full of them.

I absolutely HATE this school! First, I’m a 7th grader and poor 6th graders and even just black kids in general get segregated 24/7 and everyone thinks it’s cool! Secondly, the food is terrible! A lot of kids have gotten food poisoning from eating it. The only food that actually tastes good and hasn’t caused problems is the popcorn chicken. And lastly, the kids bullying others physically and mentally is not okay and the school board does nothing that stops it. And it doesn’t help that teachers and subs are also being disrespectful and rude to students; some even curse at students. And the teachers and students vaping, using drugs, and taking inappropriate pictures of others at school doesn’t make it a safe learning environment at all!

This school needs to be reviewed by the school board for the extreme verbal and physical bullying that kids are experiencing here, especially minority kids. As a parent, I’ve contacted teachers multiple times every year to report the bullying and no disciplinary actions are ever taken against the kids that are doing the bullying. I would never recommend this school to any parent because I don’t feel that it offers a safe learning environment for our children. The school needs to do more to review the serious issues reported by multiple parents and students to try and figure out a solution. So far, these issues have been ignored and nothing done. More parents and students need to report bullying that their kids are experiencing to help protect their child and future children who will be attending this school.

Parent's the review here seemed to be more from students than parents.
My experience with Reagan has been positive. The school gives the children opportunity to have a good grades and learn. They are allow to request retakes if they want a better grade. It is the responsibility of the student to request assistance and retakes which as a parent you should encourage. Parent vue is updated often which is good for monitoring grades. So far the administration has been very responsive and respectful.
I will said when I speak to some parents that have children with difficulties, they have expressed frustration in hiw staff response. However, let me remind you as parents which should be advocates and if anything escalate so children receive the help they need. Coming from another school district this a common issue with schools.
The school has various after school clubs and activities.

Honestly, if my best friend wasn’t at this school, I would have left day one. I’m so excited for summer break. Don’t get me wrong, I have two teachers that I really like and I love the councilors, but I HATE the subs. There was a sub that made my class choose weather or not a kid went to the principals office or the whole class wrote an essay. You heard me right. A sixth grade class writing an essay in 20 minutes for a grade. Some teachers cuss, other scream so that you can hear it through the closed door across the hallway. There are fights constantly in the hallways. Constantly as in every day. I mean, come on! I hate that place.

My daughter had a horrible experience at this school. No support from counselors, teachers and entire staff regarding bullying issues. They assured everything would be handled and it was not. Mediation is not effective. The students sign contracts but bullying continues in hallways no matter what with no consequences. I'm so happy she is out of there.

I loved attending RRMS! I "graduated" in 2016 and have found that this school has prepared me for high school! Most of the teachers and staff genuinely care about their students! There are so many athletic and extracurricular activities as well! From soccer, to debate, to news team, cooking, and service, there is something for every student to immerse themselves in. Students who have written bad reviews about this school most likely did not take full advantage of the opportunities given to them. Whenever I needed support, the faculty and staff would meet with me AFTER HOURS! It is ashame that Grear Schools has given this school a poor ranking. The academic rigor, parent support, faculty involvement, and extracurricular activities at Ronald Reagan are all fantastic! This is the best place to spend the dreaded middle school years! I will always be proud to call myself a MUSTANG!

My son is a 6th grader at this school which just opened this year. At orientation you could feel the energy and enthusiasm of the staff. My son is getting an EXCELLENT education and is part of their extended/advanced studies. As a 6th grader, he is doing 8th grade algebra, learning about covalent bonds and the periodic table in Science, blogging about the latest novel for Language Arts, practicing on his viola for music class, etc. It is a state of the art facility. There are lots of extra curricular activities. My son is on the wrestling team and is totally enjoying it. Great job Ronald Reagan Middle School. The school is located in Haymarket not Manassas as this site is saying.
