Goddard is truly a wonderful school and a great learning environment for children. They are a perfect mix of structure and fun. The teachers and staff are incredible and the love they have for their students really shows. My son has learned so much already and is always excited to go. I am so thankful for all that they do and I cannot recommend The Goddard School enough!

The Goddard School was a perfect fit for my son! He attended all but one of the classrooms and just graduated and I am confident he is going to excel in the 1st grade! Knowing that he was in a safe, nurturing environment everyday, along with the activities and experiences he was exposed to are some of the reasons The Goddard School was his second home. The staff was amazingly supportive and kept us informed with his progress daily. We definitely felt that they genuinely cared about each individual child. My son never wanted to miss school and absolutely loved all of his teachers. I highly recommend The Goddard School!

After a lot of research and test runs at other schools we instantly knew this was the right environment for our family the moment we walked in the doors. We love this school, our son has grown leaps and bounds since attending and never wants to leave. Extra shout out to Ms. Mary and Ms. Kiara in the turtles room, but honestly everyone here has been amazing! They do the utmost to make sure my son feels loved, welcome, is learning and growing in a safe environment. I really cant recommend them enough.

My son's father and I put our son into Goddard at the start of the pandemic due to being essential personnel. I had been researching new schools already and had my eyes set on Goddard to begin with. Now I can't say enough good things about them. Not only did we have reliable child care, we realized very early into his term there that he was in an environment where he was loved, cared for and most of all, given the education that has done nothing but help him grow and show us how smart he is. If you are looking for child care, I highly recommend choosing Goddard of Lynnhaven, you won't regret it.

Our daughter enrolled at The Goddard School Lynnhaven last fall, and we have loved everything about our experience! We moved her here from another school and are so impressed with the difference in the school and in our daughter! She is excited and happy to go to school each morning and loves coming home to tell us everything that she has learned. The structure of the curriculum is great and we can tell how much she is learning each day. We are so impressed with how much she has grown and learned in her time there. I feel safe dropping her off there each day and knowing that she is in a good environment. We have nothing but great things to say about all the teachers and staff we have encountered! We love the ability to get pictures, videos, and daily updates through the app and to have open lines of communication with the teachers.

Throughout all the changes with Covid, the owner and directors have been great with open communication. I feel that we always know the latest updates on regulations, safety protocols, etc. The extra steps taken to help parents and teachers connect have been greatly appreciated.

My son and I both love The Goddard School at Lynnhaven. It is one of the cleanest places I have even stepped foot into. The staff and teachers are all amazing and everyone truly cares about the children. My son has grown leaps and bounds since he started at the Goddard school when he was a little over 2. He is now 4, fully potty trained, counting and singing his ABCs, and most importantly he has grown out of his shy phase and has made friends. Before he started at The Goddard School he was in speech therapy because he wouldnt talk at his old school. After about 1 month at The Goddard School he graduated from speech therapy! I cant say enough great things about The Goddard School. I highly recommend this school and when my son eventually goes into kindergarten I will be sad to leave.

My child attends Goddard and has since he was one. He has grown so much and has made so many great friendships with both students and teachers. They have helped him develop social skills, self help skills, and worked with him educationally. I adore this school.

Theres a reason theres a yearlong waiting list at our local Goddard school. The staff, administrators, and curriculum is top knotch! My daughter has graduated kindergarten at a second grade reading level and really love math! We are very sad to graduate Goddard but are excited for her future that Goddard helped pave!

Both of my children have attended TGs. Our family has been so happy not only with the wonderful education, but also with the amazing teachers and staff. My son entered public school in first grade reading at a second grade level. My 2yo daughter already knows her colors, shapes and numbers and is starting to recognize words. And I love getting pictures with updates while I'm at work!

Goddard has become the second home for our daughter that we had hoped it would. She meets us each day eager to share her new experiences and adventures. The balance between curriculum and social experiences creates an environment where each child is given the opportunity to grow socially and academically. I know my child is safe and is being well prepared for her academic future by a team of warm and caring professionals.

Update 12/18/17
My wife and I still have our 2 children in Goddard and we could not be happier. The teachers are simply genuine and highly skilled at what they do. Just seeing how social, respectful and happy our children have become make The Goddard School the best choice of where to enroll our kids.

Love everything about the Goddard school! Love the teachers and staff, the daily pictures and reports sent home, and the "extras" like the Christmas program, the art auction, and anything to get to see what the kids have learned in school and how they interact with each other. I also love all the email monthly updates. Great school that my son has fun learning at!

Our 4yo son grew socially and academically with excellent and appropriate guidance as a individual .

We enrolled our daughter at The Goddard School Lynnhaven a little over a year ago to help her gain some social skills with kids her age before kindergarten. And let me just say that our experience went so much beyond that!! We absolutely love it here and so does our daughter. It is so refreshing to find such a friendly and welcoming staff that always greet you with a smile. Every teacher my daughter had the pleasure of working with was just amazing. So patient and kind and loving. I could go on and on. If you're looking for a preschool for your child this is the place you want to be!!

We don't worry when we drop our child off at this facility. I can highly recommended this school & know our child has succeeded because of everyone at that establishment. The feedback that they give in daily reports, emails, phone calls, or in passing is really great! The school is large enough that the approach to us & our child could be of a cookie cutter variety, it is not. They all make an effort to know our child & us. It is a very nuturing environment for all of us. And I have little doubt that our child is excelling because of The Goddard School-Lynnhaven.

I feel comfortable and safe dropping my 2 year old at the Goddard School Lynnhaven. He comes home excited and happy from learning and playing at School! He has truly developed in the past 6 months at Goddard. I love the daily activity report, especially since my little guy is too young to give me details of his day at School, it is so nice to see and read what went on. The staff and teachers excel at creating new and exciting "lessons" each day. It is also an excellent idea to give a "lunch" report so I am aware of the things he likes and what he doesn't like for his next lunch. Seems trivial but it is very helpful!

My son Grayson has been at Goddard since last September and we couldn't be happier with the experience. He loves his teachers and all the fun activities they get to do together. I appreciate the enthusiasm of the staff and how they keep parents informed and involved!

My daughter Victoria started the Goddard school in August 2016. She started in the dolphin room, now she is in the starfish. My husband and I love that place and the entire staff. I know that when I drop her off every morning, she is in a safe and fun place. The skills that she is developing amaze me. I appreciate the daily reports and pictures. She is happy there which makes me happy. I highly recommend the Goddard School.

I have only have positive things to say about the Goddard School, the director Anne and all of the wonderful teachers! My daughter has learned so much since she has been there. At three years old my daughter was showing me how she can do subtraction!!! Definitely worth the extra money to have such a quality education for the most important years of development!

Goddard has high standards for their teachers and staff and it is evident in my son's education. My son enjoys going to school and I am always impressed by what he is learning and comprehends at his age. I would definitely recommend Goddard to anyone who wants the best education for their child as well as being cared by warm and loving staff.

The owner, Directors and teachers are hands on and offer a new, clean and safe learning environment. The teachers are caring and instill a love of learning for my child. I can't write one negative comment about this school. It rises to the top in every aspect of learning.

My daughter went there and we left due to staff turnover and inappropriate comments said by the owner. The directors are new and seem to be overwhelmed. I did like the Daily Reports with the pictures but I felt that the info on the reports weren't always accurate. It is a clean school but the playgrounds are really small.

I have been very pleased with the curriculum and breakdown of individual skills , and especially the "Memorable moment" in the daily reports. It is a great way to engage my almost 3 y.o. with what he is doing at school and also for me to see how he is eating, napping, and engaing with his teachers/other children. But the most important thing I have observed is the kindness of the staff.and care they take of my child's individual personalilty and his needs.

School is extremely clean, which is so nice. Teachers are very kind and responsive. I have been a little concerned with the administrative office's turnover, but it has not interfered with our son's schooling or disrupted him in any way. I love that we get a daily report of his activities, down to what he ate and how long his nap was, and pictures of his day.

I love that my 1.5 year old has a play based curriculum that is relevant and interesting to him. I especially appreciate the Activity Reports at the end of each day that recount what he did/ learned and a highlight from his day. At the end of each day we review these and use them to reinforce the activities at home, which he loves. The Teachers, Directors and Owner are engaged and accessible. As a first time mother, I feel confident in leaving my toddler in their care and I'm impressed with what he has already learned in the past two months at The Goddard School. At 18 months, his verbal communication has just exploded and he has also learned to communicate with sign language, in addition to counting 1,2,3... already. Most importantly, he is happy to go there and gets excited when we pull into the parking lot! I highly recommend The Goddard School to anyone who asks about it!!

My daughter has been attending Goddard Lynnhaven since it opened last summer and my husband and I have been very pleased with her care (she will be 3 in a couple of months). The facility is beautiful and always looks clean (which is a big deal for me as I can't stay home with a sick child all the time). The daily email report is great and I use it to engage her in conversation after school (and she can respond to my questions about the things she learned that day). As other parents have said, I often receive compliments from strangers about how well my daughter is behaved and how verbal she is when we are out shopping, etc. I have most recently been impressed with her letter and number recognition since moving into the older 2's class. The summer camp "extras" are also nice - the site director has set up visits from the zoo, aquarium, etc. She even gets to take soccer class every week! We are expecting our second child next month and we are looking forward to having her join her older sister at Goddard in the Fall.

My wife and I researched several early education centers online prior to narrowing down our selection to 3 facilities. After visiting each, it was clear that Goddard was head and shoulders above the rest! Their staff, led by the onsite owner, Anne Pope, was phenomenal. The school was unbelievably clean and full of life. I watched children and parents pass through the secure entrance and immediately felt comforted by the fact that Anne and the School Director each greeted everyone by their first name, it gave off a wonderful family vibe. Fast forward 3 months and our daughter is doing fantastic! We've seen improvements in her social skills, vocabulary and desire to explore her surroundings. Her class has onsite visits from representatives of all the local museums and zoos. We could not be happier with our choice. The Goddard program is amazing and Anne Pope, along with her team, execute the vision its vision flawlessly.

Each day our daughter's teachers give us a recap of our her day and share with us something she enjoyed. We can see her applying the lessons learned at Goddard at home! Moreover, her social skills have improved tremendously! This is a direct result of the personal care from her teachers. Thanks Ms. Nicole and Ms. Natasha!

My daughters leave the school almost every day chatting about something they learned or singing a tune they were taught in school. I can tell they LOVE this school! My older daughter (4) even asks to go on weekends! :) Both my girls love it and I love it just as much because they are happy and I get to know each and every day what they did, how they are learning and what they did. I even get pictures of them throughout the day and a daily activity report at the end of the day with a picture and a list of Art, Movement, Motor, Science, Social, Language and Computer Activities throughout their day. I couldn't be happier and wish that my girls could learn from people who care this much thier entire life. They really do care about your children, the curriculum they teach and how your children learn. It's amazing and I cannot say enough good things about this school!

The teachers are always nice, pleasant and talking respectfully to the children. Most have a warm nature and are very caring to my daughters. They enjoy spending time with my girls and teaching them new things and allowing my girls to learn at their own pace and have fun while doing so.
