Kay School

My son has been going to Kay School for over a year, and I am very pleased with his progress. The hands-on learning for math and sciences has been wonderful to teach him about fractions, solids/liquids/gases, and other concepts I did not learn about until elementary school. My son also really enjoys the nature walks every Thursday--he is always discovering something to spark his curiosity. The school facility is very cheerful, clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always joyful and welcoming. I have recommended this school to several of my friends.

I feel so fortunate that we found Kay School for our daughter! I toured the school last year and was extremely impressed by the director and her plans for this new school in our neighborhood. The focus at Kay School is "joyful learning" - and the children really do have fun every day while learning through play. Kay School offers several different schedule options that are great for working parents, and a very supportive environment for both parents and children. I'd recommend this program without reservation!

Although there are so many good preschools in the area, the reason why we chose this preschool for our son was the unique program.
First we love the arts and project-based curriculum and weekly nature walks sooo much! It allows kids to feel and touch with whole senses and actively learn the subjects. My 4 year-old son loves science and math a lot now!
Second, the people who are working at school are highly professional and have a pleasant personality. It is really nice to see their smiles everyday :-) I love that the teachers treat kids with respect and use positive discipline at class. My son loves officer Kay, a police puppet, comes to teach kids friendly manners when they have a trouble.
I think it is difficult to find a quality and unique program like this and will definitely recommend Kay school if you like active real learning experience for your curious child!

Kay School is so wonderful! Our son has learned so much and loves going to school there. The staff is so welcoming, and the school is clean and cozy. I couldn't ask for a better place to bring my child. It's such a special place and we plan to have our youngest son attend one day also.

We were looking for a more challenging environment for our daughter for pre-school and Kindergarten, that other pre-schools could not provide. At Kay school she has learned things that I didn learn until I was well into elementary school. Ms. Carolyn has been the most adventurous and loving kindergarten teacher we could have asked for. From the farm, to space, to entomology our daughter is confident in reading, math and exploration! We couldn't have asked for more!

My son has attended Kay school for 2 years and has loved it! He can now write many sight words, has beginning reading and math skills and most of all, loves going to school. They do wonderful science experiments and really interact with nature. My favorite thing is at the beginning of the day they start with a circle time of singing.

Kay School is a unique learning experience for children. My sons have planted gardens, inspected and observed bugs and birds, experienced different cultures and places, and rocketed to space. They use all their senses to fully explore and learn about the world around them. I love the new adventures they come home to tell me about, the things they have seen and done. Kay School opens their eye wide and encourages them to figure it out! Lessons and learning that will last them their whole lives. Thank you for making their learning so fun!

A very special place... happy kids and caring teachers. The school is actually a (very nicely renovated) barn! I love to visit!
