As a teacher at this school, it is so rewarding to see these students excel! I am so impressed with the thoroughness and thoughtfulness of Mina's teaching philosophy. She gives them a strong foundation in STEM and phonics, and it serves the students so well; many are well above grade level and all are excelling.

I feel so lucky to have this wonderful gem of a school right in my own backyard. My son is doing multiplication and division in first grade! His reading went from nearly non existent before entering school to reading chapter books with ease. I can't imagine sending my son anywhere else. His behavior at home has even improved since attending Mina's School. I would dare to say this is the best educational model out there.

I wanted to reach out on this platform and post a review for Mina’ s School of Great Falls !!

All I can say is we have been all over the
place with my daughter! The best of
schools and ended up going the IEP route
last year in the public school system
realizing they do have the resources for
children with "Dyslexia" .. We went to
Multiple testing centers and therapy etc!
To our surprise but luckily we came
across Mina! I had heard about Mina
being the answer to several other
children however I thought my daughter
was a exception! With in a week we saw
substantial improvement! Not only to
learn dyslexia was misdiagnosed but the
teaching methods need to be reassessed.
Mina is a Saint!!

If you are really concerned about your child's math skills and knowledge, also want your kid to be more motivated towards doing his or her homework, then Mina's Elementary school is the place you should look into. My wife and I never thought our daughter can learn and become good at math in such a short period of time. the method and system that Mina school uses is unseen and very sophisticated and easy for the kids to learn. We are extremely pleased with the teachers hard work and dedications in tutoring and teaching our daughter. As I mentioned, if you are concerned about your child's education and math skills, then give this wonderful school a call and set up an appointment. You won't be sorry!

We send our two children to Miss Mina’s and we couldn’t be happier. The focus on the basics of math and phonics has made an incredible difference in such a short amount of time. The children can now do math in their head that would require a calculator for most adults. We couldn’t recommend the school more.

My first grader was impacted during the pandemic. In his formative years he was struggling to sit in front of the computer the whole day for his lessons. Mina's school of Great Falls was a blessing. This school not only focuses on the education part but overall growth of a child. It works on a child's behavior and how to be respectful as well. I really like Ms. Mina's unique way of teaching which is very hands-on and hence helps in building the concept from a young age. My child loves the chess program in this school. Only regret I should have brought my child earlier.

If you're in the market for a new school, I want to encourage you to check out The Mina School in Great Falls. I have been so impressed. My 10 year old son has gone from struggling in math (and disliking it!) to being super confident in just 5 months! Mina told him at the pace he's going, she'll start algebra with him next year (!). What blows me away is how "fluent" he is in the numbers - Mina teaches each child at their own pace and makes sure they have a deep understanding of concepts before she moves them along to the next lesson. My son, being a competitive kid, is really motivated to conquer the lessons so he can move on. The English teacher is phenomenal, too. They even incorporate public speaking ("toastmaster's club") into their English curriculum. The atmosphere is peaceful and the children are kind and respectful. We are so happy with our experience here.

Mina's School of Great Falls offers a full-time program for elementary school students up to eighth grade. Our 8-year-old daughter attends the school full time. Our 11-and-9-year-old sons receive math instruction in the tutoring program twice a week. All three of my oldest children have attended the three-week summer math camp.

I highly recommend this unique school. The director of the school, Mina Kondner, is more than an excellent teacher; she is a partner in my children's education. Mina is the most determined, thoughtful, hard working teacher my children have ever had. All of the teachers at this school are impressive--not just for their ability to inspire children to learn, but for their patience, compassion, and ability to connect with young people and their parents.

My children are stronger students because of Mina's School of Great Falls. My 8-year-old daughter, who attends the school full time, benefits the most. She learned long division and wrote analytic book reports in first grade. As a second grader, she is adding and subtracting fractions, developing a sophisticated understanding of the human body in biology, reciting Shakespeare, and improving her writing.

Northern Virginia is home to many schools with excellent reputations, and yet, many parents are dissatisfied with their children's education. If you are seeking a better education for your children, I highly recommend you call Mina's School of Great Falls and ask to observe a class. You will be impressed.

Me and my sister have been come to Mina's Sci Math Elem. School for about 3-5 years now, and are balanced and focused from all the things we have learned here. Behavior is always the first step into making children more stronger as humans, and believing in your abilities is a priority for the staff. I have learned so much from coming into this school, from my change in confidence and my learning system. Definitely recommend.

My boys couldn't have a better experience than Min's school. Her program helped my boys to build strong foundation on all academic subjects and develop very good sense of confidence. Her math method is outstanding, and it help her students to understand math concepts instead of memorizing. There is a big gap between what Mina's school is offering and public schools. Mina helped my boys to get ready for different math competitions. Depth understanding math concepts applies to all subject in this school. Singing up at Mina's school was the best investment I could do for my boys. I highly recommend Min's school for all students in all different level. School's philosophy is that "school needs to change its teaching method to students need instead of asking students to adjust themselves to school's method." ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN.

Lots of community members have asked my opinion on this school since we sent our child here. I give the same advice to all: avoid, avoid, avoid. We were there for multiple years, convinced by the owners we "needed" their specialized teaching. After leaving her school, we are finding plenty of other excellent math programs in the area, all of which would have served us better. Other than math, the subjects at this school are very lacking, and the math is what I would call "expected" or "average" (higher than public school offerings, but you can find better tutors in the area for sure. Check local college graduate programs for excellent math tutors!). You can find a much better value for your hard earned dollars than this program.

The school gives homework and expects children to take responsibility to get it completed. The homework is always related to the work being done in school, makes sense and is doable. Children learn to be accountable for completing their homework.

This school provides a high-quality K-6 academic education while meeting the holistic needs of their children. It's a very focused on meeting the needs of their children. Small classes and a low teacher/student ratio. Outstanding results!
