This school has gone so far downhill over the years after Ms. Wyatt and Mr. Dagley left. There are nothing but lazy staff and teachers here.

Horrible. They chose to ignore bullying and blamed my grandson for not staying near the teacher when kids would attack him

My grandson was pushed..hit. knocked down every single day and he was blamed necause the teacher said she told him to stay near her on the playground and he didnt. He was cussed at. Attacked in the classroom closet. He was always blamed for some reason or another. We had to move. York County schools would never tolerate bullying. My grandson suffered serious nightmares and anxieties while he went there for 3 months and we chose to move.

This is by far the worst experience i have ever had with a school. I wouldn't wish any child to attend this school, special needs or not.

My daughter transferred to this school in Nov of 2016 with an existing IEP in place. In Sept of 2016 i brought all of the necessary paperwork including her existing IEP, met with the special education teach and spoke with the vice principal at length regarding my daughters needs. At that time the staff assured me that things would go as smoothly as possible and that they would do everything they could for a seemless transition. Well it was everything BUT that. It took the school nearly 2 months before implementing any accommodations for her and also took me reaching out to SEAC And the superintendents office before finally getting an iep meeting to set one up for this school. The teachers were not accommodating to her needs or had open lines of communication with myself or my husband.

Leadership was not helpful in anyway. I had to go through the school board to get anything done at the school.

this school did not follow an existing IEP that my daughter had. took nearly 2 months before an IEP meeting was set and even longer before all of her testing was done to have ANOTHER iep meeting to set her goals.

my daughter never had any issues with bullying that I am aware of. Although she is on the autism spectrum, so even if she had i am not sure that she would realize it.

My child attended this schoo1 for 6 months & I removed him ASAP b/c it was the WORST school ever. Most of staff did not care about the kids but wanted the paycheck. Bullying is a major problem and not properly addressed. Suspension the most used form of corrective action. School is infested with rats & roaches.

The curriculum is well below where it should be. I don't know if there are just too many troublesome kids or if the administrators are just impatient, but the discipline, when it does occur, is extreme and completely counterproductive. The entire faculty is overworked and overwhelmed which just creates a vicious circle, fostering further port behavior both academically and socially among the children. My husband and I love the area, but we are moving because of the school. Their heart is in the right place, but it just isn't working.

My daughter is currently in the 3rd grade, while my son just started kindergarten this year. This is a great school, with very caring teachers & staff. My daughter makes straight A's & although my son doesn't like school (which would be the case for him @ any school, as is his personality), he does very well here also.

My husband & I both attended Kraft as children, as well, & it was a great school when we attended there also. I was in the SCA in 4th & 5th grade, as their reporter & vice president. My daughter can't wait to run for an SCA spot next year, after hearing about my experience!!!

Kraft is more like a family than just a school.

Kraft is a family and an awesome place for my sons. The administration is always helpful and available and the teachers go above and beyond the call of duty. Kraft is wonderful as they do many things to connect my children to the community such as National Ride Your Bike to Schools Day, food drives and other volunteer opportunities. We have not moved because we don't want to leave our school

Christopher C. Kraft elementary school is a great school.. My son has learned so much, the staff along with the kids are all treated like one big family all the time.. Kraft has the Greatest teachers and awesome principal & asst. principal that treats all the kids like they are her own child, the office staff is great and very fast and caring not only to the kids but as a parent we get so much respect, very fast response if as a parent we have a question or concern about anything they will call or set a meeting up with you right then so when you walk out you have a date and time.. The school is in a great location, my kids have excelled at kraft and I love the school!
