There are flaws but that's just how it is for every school. It is clear that all of the students and teachers try in their own fields. However, I feel that the safety needs to be taken more seriously in the perspective of students toward other students. On the other hand there is not a lot more to say and it is most likely the best school to go to in Hampton, Virginia.

The return to in-person instruction this year was wonderful. The teachers were very empathetic to the students and eased the transition back. The counselors have done a wonderful job prepping my son for college and have helped us every step of the way. Extremely thankful for the support the staff and the school provides my son.

Hats off to the staff dealing with covid. They really shined through. Truly the best district in Hampton that really cares for its students.

Child at this school for 2 years and it has been a great experience for him and I. I think the school is only as good as what you put into it.

I am a KHS alumni at a top-tier university. Kecoughtan has a rigorous, large AP program that helps students prepare for college classes. Many of the AP students are accepted to top-tier schools, like Virginia Tech Engineering, William and Mary, and UVA. Calculus at KHS gets perhaps the highest marks in the Peninsula with their teaching, especially in BC. I know that AP Psych consistently gets 5's for many of their students. This is the best high school in Hampton and students across the city go here to take our AP classes since we offer so many.

So disappointed. Seems this school is getting by on 'reputation'. I'm not impressed with the academic standards, student behavior, parent involvement or administration. Best choice...move out of the city.

I think everyone should know that this High School has some really good math teachers. They are just like any other High School with issues. I would not recommend this school unleass you are from this area, students are not treated fairly.
