This school building is PERMINANTLY CLOSED for educational purposes. The county is building a new elementary school behind Central High School in King and Queen Courthouse.

They drag their feet with IEP’s and 504’s as well as let students get hurt and bullied by others. The teachers and bus drivers show no respect to the students. They don’t allocate their funds properly and therefore the children suffer the consequences of the schools inability to provide for them efficiently. Communication is an absolute joke there and my son was stabbed there and the school officials refused to call an ambulance for almost forty minutes because they wanted to investigate. The school is a pitiful joke!

I am very impressed with the high caliber of professionalism that takes place at this school. The administration takes ownership of the school and the same attitude seems to be reflected in the teachers and students. The school is a welcoming place to enter. Parent participation could be better, but the experience as a whole has been terrific. Although the school does not offer a lot of extra-curricular activities, it strives to attain grants and as many little things that can be afforded within the budget. My children have attended several schools in and out of state because we have moved around a bit. There is never going to be a "perfect" scenario for any school you choose. You do the best for the sake of your child. As far as public education is concerned, I highly recommend this school to others.

This school has changed in the past years. This is my last year at less school and it was awesome! I will miss my fellow classmates. Some more than others... Hope that for the past years everyone will enjoy our school even more. My child has loved this school for years. Everything is getting better!

This is an excellent school. Parent involvement could be improved, but the principal and teachers are working to get parents involved.
