I am part of a few minorities within this school; in result, this usually leads to bullying and seclusion which seems to rarely or effectively be taken care of.

King William High School is an excellent school with extremely dedicated teachers. My son, a sophomore last year, is very bright but equally lazy and so he seldom ever did homework. Fortunately, he scored high on all tests, due to outstanding teaching. And, when he did fall way behind, the teachers did not falter to get him caught up. In the past, we have paid up to $40,000.00 per year to ensure him an excellent education, but do not feel the need to do so, since moving into this school district.

KWHS is a pretty good school. I am a rising senior, and I have rather enjoyed my past three years attending this school. The teachers are great, the sports are very successful, and the administration is very good. The students strive to learn, and everybody is nice to each other. My favorite thing about the students is that there are no "cliques" so everyone can be friends with each other. The community is very involved with school events, especially sports. I'd have to say, this is a pretty good school for how small it is, and compared to the other schools around us, we're amazing. I'm proud to say that I am a Cavalier.

NO AUDITORIUM IN THIS SCHOOL! Above average teachers and students. However, there are problems with communication on discipline across the board. Cell phones are a big issue... administration and school board didn't want to really touch the issue so teachers had to do all the work and dealt with it as best they could. Great community and supportive and caring parents who care about what their students are doing. Administration seems to care and fund sports more than the arts... but then again, is that really anything new here in Virginia?
