Ive had a great experience at this school. One of my favorite things is the track seasonits super fun and a great way to stay active. I also like all the clubs we can join. Theres something for everyone, and its a great way to make new friends. Im really lucky because all six of my teachers this year have been amazing. Theyre helpful, kind, and they can make learning fun. I feel like they really care about us and want us to do well. Overall, its a great school with fun activities and awesome teachers. I definitely recommend it!

A great school for my son. He seems to be happy and loves the school. He has made friends and is doing well in band. I LOVE how many after school clubs they have! My son was bullied here once and the staff handled it very quickly and kept me informed. The student immediately apologized and hasn't cause an issue since. I appreciate how much the staff cares about my son and is willing to make accommodations for my son as issues arise (he is Autistic on an IEP).

Covid really exposed the inadequacies of the education provided. Teachers routinely did not even show up for their classes and when asked for a make up for the classes not taught we were informed that none would be provided as according to the teachers union agreement the teachers dont need to hold their classes. We were told to just have our children log in for attendance regardless of whether they could attend class. Totally taught children to work the system with no regard for education.

I have had a great experience at Harbour Pointe Middle School

I have had one child go through HPMS, and our second child is now in 7th grade. The faculty is terrific, both teachers and admin staff. I home schooled my kids when they were younger out of concern for what public schools were becoming- luckily, this school is unique in it's "old-school" values still in place. Very happy parent.

I went to Harbour Pointe Middle School from 2010 to 2013. i would recommend this school to any parent to enroll their child. This school helped me in many areas and prepared me for high school with the Sapnish program, i continued it on at Kamiak. I really love ALL my teachers and classes. I loved the sports units in PE which encourged me to try out for Softball turns out i am an amazing batter and catcher(: HPMS brought out the best in me and the area is very nice, afterschool me and friends head to the Library to do Homework and next to the Library they have Subway, atarbucks, Walgreens and Bie of New York for those hardworking kids treat! I also enjoyed the after school parties and the 7th grade pie day! i will never forget my 8th grade graduation! So memorable, The theme was Masquerade and i applaude the decoraters and commitee! Overall my experiance at Harbour Pointe was AMAZING! If i ever had a chance to repeat it i would in a Heartbeat! Love, A Student(;

I love my school! All of my teachers know my name and the Princible is amazing! We have lots of fun assemblies and sports games. There is always art hanging on the walls because there is a great art class. Now for my favorite part: the music program. I am in my 6th grade year and we just finished the first trimester but i already know that my elective is going to be choir every year. It is amazing! I feel like i am learning so much.

I attended Harbour Pointe from 2003 until 2006. My time at the school was marred by academic struggles during my first year and bullying throughout all three years, but both were addressed fairly well by the school administration. The principal's administration was fairly good at the time, with the principals and vice principals changing frequently, but I saw them very little and they were extremely unhelpful when I attempted to address the theft of some of my possessions (phone, etc) through them on several occasions. The teaching staff was very diverse in their effectiveness, with some being completely ineffective, discouraging, and hurtful and others being some of the best teachers I've ever had. The academic programs were appropriately challenging, but only became diversified around 8th grade. I will say, however, that the "IB program" at this school is a complete joke. I quite literally completed and filed 10 hours of community service at this school, nothing more, and recieved two years of IB credit. I was in for a bit of a rude shock when I entered high school, but overall, I'd rate my time at Harbour Pointe as beneficial to my learning experience.
