If your child has a 504 or IEP, please find a different school. I wish I had.

Our children attended CMS from 2018-2022. We feel fortunate that our kids got to learn in such a supportive environment. Our kids span the educational spectrum. One needing IEP services for a learning disability, the other needing 504 accommodations for a chronic disease as well as accelerated academic learning opportunities. From push-in English to honors Science and taking HS math on CMS's campus, we are very happy with the educational variety offered to our children. The teachers, admin, para & office staff made our children feel welcomed, known & part of the CMS community. Considering how much turmoil can typically accompany those middle school years, we look back on our kid's years at CMS with affection. They both went out for sports (football, track, volleyball), enjoyed the elective offerings (drama, and art) and were given the tools to successfully transition to HS. CMS is a wonderful 2 year pit stop to guide student's transition from elementary to high school.

Let my son get ruthlessly bullied the bus driver of 64 also targeted my son and blames him for everything that goes wrong they also kicked my sons friend off the bus for no goos reason should any bus driver or any staff be targeting certain students.

We found the leadership to be reasposive to teachers and parents, and very involved with the kids.

The accomodations provided my child were as much as I could hope for.

My child has been bullied for their disability before, but didn't have any trouble at Centennial. Most other students were very tolerant of their differences.

I'm not a huge fan of homework; it's too often ineffective. But Centennial teachers gave reasonable assignments and reasonable levels of homework.

My child only had 1 teacher they didn't love; the rest were really excellent teachers who worked hard to be supportive, and who really understood my child.

My child with disabilities attended this school for 2 years, and I'm just sorry they don't start in 6th grade. It was a huge breath of fresh air after our elementary experience. Wonderful teachers, solid classes, most of the kids have been very nice to my child. Our primary special ed teacher has been amazing. I had an initial odd conversation with an administrator that made me fear we'd end up homeschooling, but everything after that was the smoothest of sailing and the principal in particular (who was brand new to the school and district 2 years ago) has been incredibly supportive. My child leaves this school with fond memories.

I think this is a great school, they could give a little more homework in math though. Over all I would strongly recommend it to any one. (At the time of this I am going there.)

As I said this school does not alow bullying at all!

Everything at this school is amazing all the students and terachers. I would recomend this school to anyone. One thing I will say though is the school does not give homework so when your student comes home they will not have that much.

They try very hard to make sure everyone is where they need to be and don't let students fall behind.

There is a lot of integrity needed to do well at this school because there sometimes can be problems that can come up in a class but the teacher will alwasy incourage them.

I'm a single Father of two children. My oldest daughter attended this school for 7th and 8th grade. She enjoyed all teachers but one. The greatest part of this school is all the parent interaction in that school. I loved helping out when ever possible. I also served as Watchdog and really enjoyed being part of my daughters academic achievements at Centennial. I thank the all the staff for your hard work.
