Extraneously vague assignments with poor instruction and any type of communication to clarify subject matter is met with disregard and poor follow-up.

They are extremely slow at following up with support and correcting their mistakes. They have mislead my child multiple times.

Our experience has been very disappointing. I would not recommend this school. Teachers are very slow to respond even though the class sizes are small.

Langley Middle School has been a fantastic school for my child. After moving from Los Angeles school district it was refreshing to find schools that care about the "total student" and not just his test scores. For example, they actually have a real P.E. class, and dedicated teachers (instead of the history teacher pulling double duty). They have a band AND a jazz band as a daily class - where most school districts have abandoned music and art all together. Finally, there is a real concern about how my child understands the material and is progressing instead of how well they did on a test and whether they missed class for a doctor appointment.

This is a great school. The teachers really care a lot about how well your doing and really try to help you in every way. But if your in the more sports area, the school hasn't done so good overall. There are a variety of great teachers for me it has always been Mr. Jokinen the P.E./Health teacher and our Drama class Mrs. Simons. I'm More of a sports guy and always love to have a challenge but sports have never been so good here. The wrestling, football and basketball have always been pretty strong but there are many other sports. I moved here and easily made friends, everyone is very outgoing and easy to talk to here. Yeah the teachers can be hard on you but every school has them. So overall everything put together its a great school, but it's just another average school.
