My son arrived to this school mid year kindergarten and had previously attended Poulsbo Elementary, where they thought he was exhibiting a learning disability. Well, he is brilliant, as became evident quickly within the much smaller class sizes offered in Brinnon. I thank God that we came here, because I knew something was wrong at his first school and it was the HUGE class sizes. One teacher to 29 kindergartners.... Is our state really so bankrupt we can't hire more educators? This question doesn't pertain to Brinnon though, even as the student population is growing in numbers, the class sizes are perfect. And they constantly have extra opportunities for the students to engage in excellent programs through the school like swimming classes (paid by the district) and MS coding and computer instruction offered through the Microsoft Company itself.
This is a beautiful school with a loving family feel that teaches the children to love reading and has triggered a love of science in my student. The teachers and principal are incredibly gifted people whom we have grown to completely adore.
I wish we could have stayed longer, but I am glad we had the chance to experience the Brinnon School.

We love the teachers! They are mostly relatively new (within the last five years), and have really developed strong classrooms and excellent curriculum!

Bullying is stopped in its tracks, and full inclusion is required. Any familial disputes are left at the door. "That's not acceptable at school"

We just moved here last year and are loving it so far! We are in 2nd grade and preschool this year. (Preschool program is paid by the district). In our experience, the teachers do a great job of keeping the class focused on task and keep it interesting for the kids, incorporating technology into the classroom. With such small class sizes, my kids get a tailored education experience. It is fantastic!

As a student, I enjoyed my time here and did well. The teachers were kind and wanted you to do well, though one or two of the students were out of control :)
