Research neighbors carefully before moving into any area of Port Orchard or Kitsap County in general. The area is saturated with meth labs and addicts and all the mental health and crime that accompanies them. Test homes for meth contamination prior to moving in.
There are more than the average number of just plain mean and crazy people living in Kitsap County, too. Beware.

"McCormick Woods of Port Orchard"

McCormick Woods area of Port Orchard is very nice and I have lots of friends who live there. There are trails, parks, and a golf course. Some people think Port Orchard is a bit of a drive but it hasn’t bothered them.
