As parents of three boys, we wanted to find a place where each of them could thrive in their own way. Discovery Montessori has exceeded our expectations and has been instrumental in helping all three of our sons flourish.
Our oldest, who tends to be all over the place, has developed confidence and a sense of independence through the gentle encouragement of the teachers. The environment is nurturing yet structured, allowing him to explore at his own pace, while still feeling supported.
For our middle child, Montessoris hands-on, child-centered approach has been perfect for his shy and curious nature. He has embraced learning with enthusiasm and is constantly surprising us with new skills and knowledge.
Our youngest, even though hes still very little, has benefited from the Montessori environments focus on early learning.

My child has been enrolled since age 2.5 and is now 5. What I appreciate most about Discovery is that the staff dont give up on the child when they dont check the box for the Montessori poster child. They go above and beyond to try and find what teaching style works best for each of their students.

Low teacher/student ratios means children get more direct learning opportunities one-on-one.
Caring staff, engaging program.
Would recommend.

We can not recommend Discovery Montessori School. We made the decision to pull our child from this program. There were a lot of, hmm and what the heck moments that we were uncomfortable with. From staff, owners to other students behavior, something feels very off. Communication was generic and we never really felt like we knew what was being taught and what happened inside the school. There were a lot of bullying type incidents and student fights. Teachers do not seem to understand Montessori or children. Research your school before making a hasty decision. We wish we did.

The staff there seems to think it's ok for the employees to gang up on a parent and have court papers served to a father under the guise of looking for the Friday take home folder. Highly disappointed in the staff here. I am going to be looking for a new school that is safe for not only my child, but both parents as well.

Not good. I feel ganged up on every time I walk through the doors. This should be a place where both students and parents are all treated equally and it is far from that. Good luck to single fathers taking their kids to this place.
