As a student at Harbor Ridge Middle School, I do recommend this school but most of the time I get teachers who are too fast causing me not to understand the topic, and I feel as if some teachers don't want to be here. The other students if what I mostly have a problem with, most of the time they are disrespectful and don't care about others.

I have been so impressed with the teachers, students and leadership at this school! The principals at the school know every student by name! They work hard to get to know about each students interests. The counselors and teachers are super helpful and accommodating. When my son broke his arm, they got in touch with me right away to set up accommodations for him. Excellent customer service!

My son transferred from out of state and attended 7th and 8th grade. We had a great experience with the staff who were very accommodating and helpful with getting my son settled in. The campus and facilities are well maintained. The kids were well behaved for middle schoolers. There are lots of extracurricular activities for the kids. My son played several sports and had fun. The teachers worked with us if we had any concerns and I feel my son was well prepared for high school. I am very surprised that the school is rated 5/10...I feel that this score does not accurately reflect this school. It is a great school and would recommend it to any parents.

My child experience harassment from other students to the point of having severe depression and social anxiety. We had to transfer her out of the school and she still has PTSD from that one year

Awful the teachers where not very supportive and when I went into the school they thought my child had transferred mid year when she had been their since the first day.

I have a 4.0 for the first time, and in a safe learning environment. I do have a problem with the sexism in the school.

No legitimate Highly Capable Program, they seem to be trying to "figure it out"...and "in a few years we think we will have full program".. The meetings w/teachers in this program are very "well, if the student wants to do this work, maybe they could, if they are not too busy"...kids do much better with clear, concise direction and expectations, just like the real world they will be going into.... Why not just copy other great programs and affect the students NOW, challenge them..instead of in their own words "teaching to the lowest denominator"..challenge them, the curriculum as way, way too easy....sad.....20, 15, 10 years ago...they created a great reputation but not today. And for the love of God please add girls underwear/tights/leggings to the dress code.....

Harbor Ridge Middle School. This is school is overall the best middle school in the Harbor. Great kids, family involvement, clean grounds, safe learning environment. I am please with progress that my child has made at HRMS and am greatful that she is receiving a super education!

No recent reviews? This is a great school and great schools are contagious!!! Purdy Elementary was a great school for my daughter and Harbor Ridge has been a continuation of that. I will say that the teachers need to update the Parent Portal more often but in general this is a great experience for any student and their parents. Keep up the great work and a special mention to the Principal and Vice Prinicipal!!! Heavily involved and the administrative office staff is great too!!!
