Horrible experience. Awful communication problems. Dont bring your kids here. Only one of the teachers seemed to put any effort into our kids. Started off the year like youd expect, then by second day they told us the my had to put our kids on half days. Pressed us into seeking services, then by the time we received them they told us that there was no spots open for them, so had to seek out a new school for my kids. New school has been great with my kids so far, and theyre actually thriving now, just goes to show level of competency at Cottonwood.

My brothers and I have attended this school many years ago. My son is now in the first grade, I loved the school then, and I love it now. My son has been happy the last year and I havent had much to complain about. I highly recommend!

Cottonwood has been one of the best schools my children have ever attended! Being a military family I'm always looking for the best schools for my kids. All the staff, teachers are all down to earth. They actually care about our kids. When we first moved here the principal actually called me to tell me how wonderful my kids are and told me how she knows how it feels to be a moving kid.

All of my children attended Cottonwood K-5, and it is the absolute best school! I have worked at other local schools, and Cottonwood stands out above them all. The teachers have gone above and beyond for my kids. I highly recommend!!

My oldest has been going to Cottonwood since 2017. My second oldest has been going since 2018. We absolutely love it there. My oldest is special needs and theyve gone above and beyond to help meet her needs and goals. We moved back into district just to make sure she could stay there with her team until shes done with elementary school. Hoping to send our son there as well once he is of age. One thing I love is that when I go in, everyone knows who I am and whos parent I am. Never had that at their old schools.

The school has provided, in the last few years, bullying programs and assemblies that help model positive interactions with peers and staff.

I rate this school a 10. The principal, Mrs. LaHaie is hands on and personal. My child's teacher was amazing at communication and I was amazed how she could work with my child's strengths and weaknesses and could help him excel. The communication with weekly newsletters, emails with questions and concerns helped me to feel connected to my child's learning environment. I look forward to many years at Cottonwood.

Cottonwood is a wonderful school. It is the smallest school in the district. All the staff know my child's name. The principle is very active with the teacher and does crafts at events with the children.

My kids loved school until we moved and they started attending Cottonwood. Cottonwood is a mess and we're moving again just to get away from it.

I can't think of anything positive to say about Cottonwood Elementary. Steer clear if you can.

School is very disorganized. Little to no communication with parents about school events. Unless you're one of the lucky few that gets to ride the bus, getting to and from school is a mess. Walking along the side of Foster road is dangerous, yet many parents let their kids do it alone. Jaywalking parents, cars parked illegally and speeding drivers make it a nightmare. If you drive, plan on getting there 15 minutes early, or you'll be driving up and down Foster road for 15 minutes, waiting just to get into the parking lot.
