Great School we felt supported your student is not just a paycheck for these teachers at the school. My student needed extra help this year and she received it immediately. We have always felt supported in this school. If anything, there should be more time spent on subjects prior to testing, I think the subjects are being pushed through too quickly

When we bought our house we were told about another school in the area that was really good but then started to hear bad things about where money was being used, gossipy cattiness, mean teachers, and safety being an issue. I’m so glad with our choice to go to Crescent Heights. There is so much support, friendliness , and most of all my child felt heard.

I am incredibly grateful for the all the teachers, support staff and principal at CHE. They create an amazing environment for all the kids to thrive. Our principal knows every student's name and knows the families. I have two daughters enrolled at CHE. My oldest was placed on in IEP and my youngest is on a 504. I had zero issues getting support to implement the plans. If I have questions or concerns everyone is always willing to have conversations and give support. Both of my girls are on track with academics because of the teachers. I know other parents at other elementary schools struggle to get the support they need with kids who are neurodivergent but CHE has always been great about creating equity for their students. I just love the school so much and can't imagine my girls any where else.

We had been in a private school for gifted children until recently, when for safety reasons, I enrolled my 7 year old into Crescent Heights Elementary. This was the best decision we ever made for her mental well being after having been bullied at her last school. I veered away from public schools because of the stigma of not getting a quality education. Boy was I very wrong. My daughter is excelling and super confident in her abilities at CHE. Excellent leadership, staff and educators. Based on our past experiences, I would recommend CHE to absolutely anyone!

Three kids have or are going through Crescent Heights. Academics are a year ahead of nearby Federal Way schools. Fantastic music and after school programs. Great, approachable teachers. A far better elementary school experience for my kids than I had. Only issue is sometimes the "no touching" policy gets too strict and black and white (although this is better under current principal). Let the kids play tag!!!

By far the best school in the area, great teachers who are involved in the community (coaching sports, running art and theater groups, etc.) You can not find a better Elementary School in the area.

Don't put your kids LRC. You will be discriminated if your not all white I am sorry but that is how I feel they make you feel like a bad parent. The other teachers are awesome. Not fond of LRC I don't think they understand others people culture. They should put someone in that LRC who can understand that.

Went to register my son for the school year in July for the following September. We filled out all the forms and were told that everything was good they just needed our sons immunization form and they would attempt to get it from the previous school. They told us that if they were unsuccessful they would let us know so we could get them a copy. When I didn't hear anything by mid August I called so see what going on. The PRINCIPAL answered he was extremely rude and sarcastic and started to argue and become super condescending to me. had to hang up on him because he was so awful!! If that is who runs the school I am super scared to see how he treats kids and parents during the school year. ill keep my fingers crossed but I don't have high hope :(

I have two children that attend CH and they love it! The teachers are all amazing and the routines and expectations are clearly in place at this school.

Nice, clean and safe school in a good neighborhood. Good teachers and academic programs. The school is able to run effectively without the need for endless fundraisers. I think after school sports programs would be a nice addition.

My sons teachers at this school have been Over the TOP amazing. They stay in contact with you very quickly and are very caring about every child. Every kid is important in their eyes and every teacher I have come across is just so sweet! The office staff on the other hand, could present you with more smiles when you enter the office, and make you feel more welcome instead of kind of turning their shoulders and looking at you like yes??? That is how a lot of them come off anyway. Maybe they are being cautious about making sure to see everyone who enters the school for safety reasons. But there is a way to do so and be welcoming and nicer to the parents. So besides the kind of careless attitudes in the office, I would recommend Crescent Heights because of the amazing teachers, high school spirit involvement, strong anti-bully rule, and nice location. I just wish they would incorporate a little customer service training with the staff is all.
