Majority of students here have a lack of drive and are not interested in learning. The staff and teachers do nothing to motivate students. There are a handful of really fantastic teachers but other than that it’s slim pickings. The counseling department as a whole Is utterly incompetent and overall horrible. As someone who came from a much nicer school district, this school is functioning behind grade level in all areas. The kids here are so behind developmentally and academically it’s actually quite baffling. There is really poor control over students. I see or hear of people fighting and doing substances on the daily. No serious actions are ever taken against students (expulsion) due to the lack of other schooling options. There is also a huge issue with favoritism in not only classroom environments but also in sports. If your family has money invested into the school or you and your family are “popular” staff show immediate favoritism. Favorite students also get away with virtually anything and negative actions taken by them are brushed under the rug constantly. I recommend quite literally any other school in the area.

the amount of undisciplined bullying and harassment that goes on at this school is insane. i’ve been a victim of it since the second i stepped foot in the building. telling administration doesn’t help, as they do absolutely nothing.

My kids are both getting 3.8 to 4.0 GPA's, the teachers must be doing something right.

Teachers actually take time to teach student and help the struggling ones. Class periods are spent explaining the homework and work closely with Nav teachers and students assignments.

Posted: February 11, 2020

Teachers are very positive at the High School and want you to succeed. Ask them questions and they help. There are so many avenues at this and opportunities to learn. The teachers care! During Nav or after school for help or after school help with homework is always there. I just don’t care for the Spanish teacher. She doesn’t teach very well and very negative person. Definitely don’t recommend taking Spanish at this school!

The staff is happy. The principal and Vice principal are always involved and always finds ways to expand learning and develop
Positive, successful learning environment.
Kids will work in groups on an assignment
or they will help others if they see them struggling. Kids hold good attitudes here.

Kids are not critical of one another. Kids and staff are positive and give out compliments.

Teachers are Festive especially around Christmas time. They laugh and joke with kids and parents. Staff is found at sporting events and are always involved with the students meeting grades to play sports. The school doesn’t hold a condemned approach in student

The teachers here tend to be pretty good. Unfortunately, the administrators for this school and those for the entire district are extremely far right. This mindset tends to favor Christians and middle class white people and target the poor and especially the minority poor.
