Absolutely amazing and necessary. I would not have a diploma were it not for Tim McIntosh and the other staff at Sartori having helped to push me toward my goal of graduating. Hard working, respectful, realistic teaching, person to person, helps every student realize the work is in their hands. My life changed when I realize no one was going to hand me success. Tim taught me that I had the tools and I was the only one to use them to build my own life.

My instructor, Tim McIntosh, and the rest of the staff at Sartori remind you their job is dependent upon your hard work and achievements. Tim was the best person I could have learned from at that very pivotal time in my pre adult life.

Students attend Sartori because they do not fit the expectations of public high school. Each instructor, Tim McIntosh was mine, works individually with each scholar and teaches these by example.

Everyone is equal at Sartori. There was not a student body president. Teachers/Instructors often were on first name basis with the students.

Students are individually working with their instructor. The classes were not huge and therefore students were not lost. Each student is there for a different reason. Learning difference may just be one of the reasons for some student's attending Sartori.

I did not encounter any incidents of bullying at Sartori. Students attended school like it was a job. Get to work, keep your head down, enjoy the challenges and knowledge brought on by your instructors.

My life was changed after coming to Sartori. This is seriously how all schools should work. No teacher ever cared about their students like my teacher did (Kim Sweet) I'm grateful to say I had the opportunity to be a Sartori graduate!

My daughter spent two years in one of the comprehensive high schools before coming to Sartori. She, like many kids, was not cut out for the 'start at 7am, change classes (and gears) six times a day and be overloaded with homework' high school model. Not everyone learns the same way, and Sartori recognizes that. My girl thrived at Sartori. I am so happy we discovered this self guided program. It may not be for everyone, but it was exactly what my daughter needed to succeed. The students are completely responsible for their education. It's treated like a job-if they are going to miss a day, they are responsible for calling in. They are held accountable. No cell phones, less absences are allowed and they are there until they succeed. This program is worth checking into. It's small so everyone knows your student. Call them if your child is struggling--it's worth it!
