Renton Academy is the BEST school that Renton has! All the kids that go there are the kids that teachers have given up on and given up trying to find out how you can teach them. But Renton Academy NEVER gives up on your kid(s). They don't abuse them (I had problems with that in Beverly Park in Burien) they always come home with a smile on there face because they make the student feel smart, respected and heard. My Son FAVORITE staff member was Mr. S. And I can't tell you how many teachers took time out of there own day to come and watch my son play basketball because he invited them. Mr. Hall in hands down the BEST Principal! He is ALWAYS available to talk to student and parents. He doesn't hide out in his office. He genuinely respects and cares about each one of the kids. I had the BEST experience if my life and my son's life at this school. My son has since transitioned but he was at Renton Academy for 2-3 year and I will always be grateful for the teachers, principal, Nichole (office), Mr, S for treating me and my son like REAL people instead of a burden.

My Daughter has attended this school for going on on 7Months now and the teachers seem fake and under paid It's as if there just noisy and more worried about what's happening at home then improving the children's education which is what there getting paid for .I'm positive that faculty staff are underpaid which means that there not paid enough to dig in my child's life out of school if they can't meet there educational needs my advice do not put your child in this school if you are a private person and truly care about your child's educational needs. A few words to those who live in the area and can't afford private school.

I am an educator who works at Renton Academy. I noticed it's been over 1.5 years since anyone has submitted a review of Renton Academy. I am pleased to write that we are continuing to serve students through the philosophical framework of Re-EDucation. We are now in our 7th year, and our leadership, staff, students and academic programming are all sources of great pride for me.
