It's a school for kids who've had problems in other schools. Staff are extremely dedicated, but do not expect any academic rigor from them.
If your kid's goal is successfully graduate high school without getting arrested or self harming, go here. Otherwise, you will probably find more useful opportunities elsewhere.

We've been so happy with our experience with Scriber. Their alternative scheduling and sense of community made a big difference for our student who was struggling in a "traditional" high school setting. Our family has always felt welcomed and valued by every staff member we've encountered.

This school is a joke. There is no academic content. All the kids earn additional credits for home room and silent reading which they take every quarter! You dont even have to attend or pass classes to graduate. They manufacturing fake diplomas for kids who haven't earned them and most often cant perform at an elementary school level. As a junior my daughter was assigned the same book as her 5th grade brother . This is essentially a babysitting service for teens, except they dont actually watch them.

I would give Scriber 2 1/2 stars if I could.
Scriber Lake High school has pros and cons.

Pro: you can earn credits quickly. They have all kinds of ways to earn credits fast which are not available at the regular high schools. So it is great for students who need to make up credits.

Pro: Passing classes is easy. All the student has to do is show up.

Con: Many of the students at Scriber have drug and behavioral problems. If your child minds their own business, s/he will be fine. If your child is easily influenced, then this might be a problem.

Con: Some staff are very lazy. We had trouble with enrollment process. We met all deadlines, but advisor treated as if it we didn't and never returned calls (she even told me to quit calling, that our application was still pending). After several months of waiting and no calls returned. I had to complain to district. Finally my daughter was accepted, but she missed out on two quarters because of the lazy staff who misplaced our file.

Con: even after enrollment, advisors make costly mistakes (like placement in wrong classes. missed deadlines, etc). Advisor treated me like I was pesty and rarely returned my calls.

Pro: my daughter graduated!
