My daughter has autism and is on a 504 plan. Most teachers at this school harass my daughter when she is trying to call home or go out in the hall to pace. It is Stated in her plan that she is allowed to leave class when she is feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. She has severe severe panic disorder and gets awful panic attacks and teachers claim they forget my daughter has autism and severe anxiety. Its exhausting dealing with staff who are less than compassionate and understanding. I dont recommend North if you want your child to feel safe and supported emotionally.

I want to this school and it was the worst,I got harassed ,hair pulled,cyber-bullied,followed,bullied,tripped,flipped off, shouted at,and the teachers didn't even care about me,the only person who seemed to care was Mrs.Ochoa.Other than that I really don't recommend North middle,I don't feel safe there and I needed to change schools.the principles didn't seem to care and so didn't the conseler, and my grades were low and they didn't even teach me anything

My daughter attends this school. Theyve gotten a new principal and some new faces in the office that have made a huge improvement at the school this year. Last year fights were very prevalent, seemed like they occurred daily. This year, they are few and far between. There have been a few new rules that I believe have helped with this.
Alot of the teachers are just amazing- welcoming extra help for students when needed at lunch or after school. Some of the teachers are really communicative, sending text /or email communication with upcoming test or big assignment due dates to keep parents involved.
I would recommend this school!

I gotta say, North Middle School has been absolutely awesome for my kid. The teachers and staff are so caring and dedicated, making sure the students excel both academically and emotionally. The curriculum is well-rounded, and the facilities are top-notch. But what really sets it apart is the sense of community they foster. It's like a big family where everyone feels supported and valued. They've exceeded all my expectations!

They had harassed students with their very strict rules to students. They had sent my child to detention for showing a shoulder. They would give students detention for holding hands or touching others like a high five. I do not recommend this school if you want a good child.

My two daughters have attended North Middle school. The teachers and administrators care about all of the students and their progression. They work diligently to set high expectations and help all students achieve their goals. The building is not the best but is being remodeled in 2018-2019. I do not feel like the negative reviews on this sight reflect the majority of feelings from parents and students about North Middle School.

I was a student there 93'-96' and found a rougher experience than might exist elsewhere. I remember the vice principle allowing much older kids, kids that didn't go to school there to threaten/ harass me about dating one of their girlfriends. How was I supposed to know she had a boyfriend 3-4 years older? Anyway, there were five-six of them that came down to the outdoor basketball court, one of them had a good "talk" with me. All this right in front of the vice-principal. They shouldn't have been on the property. There's plenty more, it's just that I don't feel like writing a book, so this will have to do.
