As a parent, I couldn’t be more pleased with Jenkins Creek Elementary. From the moment my children started attending, we’ve felt welcomed and supported by both the teachers and staff. The school fosters a warm, inclusive environment where students are encouraged to grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.

The teachers are dedicated and truly care about their students. They communicate regularly and keep parents involved, which makes a big difference. I’ve seen both of my kids develop a genuine love for learning here, thanks to the creative and engaging teaching methods.

The principal and administrative team are approachable, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a safe, nurturing atmosphere. There are also great opportunities for parent involvement, from classroom volunteering to fun family events and school spirit activities.

I have loved this school so far. My daughter has been there for 4 years now. From the front office, to the principle, to the teachers - they are all amazing! Respectful, communitive, clean environment, and fun. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of Jenkins Creek.

The teachers my daughter has had are wonderful. She is now in 3rd grade and every year I have loved her teacher. They are all firm, but fair. And truly care about the kids. She has Ms. Boxly this year and she is GREAT!

Respect is a big thing at this school, as well as compassion.

For the past couple of years they have had a fundraiser promoting leadership! It has been extremely effective.

My daughter was having some problems with math, so they made sure she got the extra help she needed. One of the best teachers to help students that need extra help is Mrs. Glaeser. She is truly AMAZING!

I emailed Ms. Boxly about a student that was being disrespectful to my daughter, and she took care of it immediately. Mrs. Cosand got involved and she spoke with my daughter and helped her come up with appropriate ways to handle someone who is being disrespectful to you. I honestly didn't expect Ms. Boxly or Mrs. Cosand to do anything when I initially sent the email, I just wanted them to know what was going on. So, I was extremely impressed and grateful with how prompt they were with making sure they did anything they could to put a stop to any bullying that was happening.

7th and 8th grader both from Jenkins Creek won most dependable once reaching Cedar Heights.

My daughter, Jada, is in 1st grade now. She had Mrs. Cogswell in Kinder and she was a terrific teacher! She was firm but very fair! Jada loved her. She now has Mr. Kay in 1st grade and he is a wonderful teacher and the kids LOVE him! I have been fortunate with the teachers my daughter has had at this school, but beyond the teachers, even the front office is amazing! The lady up front with the accent is so sweet and friendly and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. These teachers and staff don't get enough credit for what they do everyday.

I love this school and the teachers, but I don't remember getting homework in Kinder when I was a kid!

PE teacher is cruel and unfair to the kids, very little supervision, no campus safety precautions by the office, we decided to move our child after one year. We drove our son and found that picking up and droping off is very difficult because there is no parking and the cars get clustered badly.

My daughter has been going to Jenkins Creek since Kindergarten, she is now about to finish 1st grade. She loves her teachers and all of the office staff. Her teacher Mrs Mroos has great care for all her kids and gives each and every one of them individual attention. Even though the new curriculum is very time consuming. I am very happy with this school and my daughters progress while attending there.
