Would not recommend this school to families of children with IEPs, ADHD etc. Removed my child from of this district and public school based on our experience with this school and staff/teacher. All the 1 star reviews are true.

My family loves everything about Skyline and it’s staff members. The office staff are very friendly and helpful and we have loved every teacher our students have had.
The teachers do a wonderful job of keeping the parents informed with what is going on in the classroom or if any issues arise. When needed they are very responsive with parent communication.
When COVID hit all the staff members faced the new challenge head on and did their best in an unwelcome situation. In the following year when classes were still in Distance Learning the staff collaborated and found what worked best previously and made the new school year special in its own way.
My whole family is very grateful to be a part of such a special school. I am dreading the day my youngest finishes fifth grade, but I’m sure we will be back often to visit the wonderful people we have meet along our elementary journey!

The principle and counselors at this school are good for little more than locking kids in rooms when they misbehave. Their solutions are surface deep and show no compassion for the struggles that children encounter when they have special needs.

In my experience, this school is not a good environment for kids with adhd in low income families. Their solution to any disruption in the classroom is to remove the child and send them to a room that isolates them and reinforces future negative behavior. Their staff has on multiple occasions punished my daughter before she even acted, and excluded her from social games that help teach kids to interact properly.

This school worked hard to make my daughter feel like a failure in every facet of education. After a year at a school in Georgia she graduated 2nd grade with A’s and very few disciplinary marks. I am ashamed of the fact I made her continue to go to this awful school that punished her for being a child. Their practices for punishment include removing the child from the classroom and sending them to the counselor. My daughter would get isolated almost EVERY DAY for minor infractions, something that could have been prevented if the teacher and 2 staff assistants in the classroom had actually cared enough about productive social growth over removed distractions.

I currently have three kids at skyline and they love it. Great teachers, great staff, amazing school.

I absolutely love this school. My family moved from a high ranking school district where they focused a lot more on state test scores than the actual learning experience. Both my first grader and fourth grader have been thriving since the beginning of the year! I cannot believe how much progress the first grader has made in reading. Previously she would just have books thrown at her, but here they spend the time to work on each student's hurdles to get them to the next one.

We recently moved to Washington and got lucky with this school. The staff were very welcoming and his teacher Mrs.Stuller is outstanding. The teachers really take care of the pick up and drop off of the students and make it much less stressful. My favorite part is how much they care about bullies and do not tolerate them, telling students all the time. They also have a teacher that goes around to the classes talking about emotions and how to deal with them. My son is in first grade and compared to his last school is on second grade level work. I am so proud of the progess my son has made thanks to the amazing teachers here.

Magic is happening at this school. Kind. Fair. Dedicated staff walk the halls daily with smiles on their faces and their classrooms in their hearts. Couldn't be happier with this school. Test scores, dedicated parent volunteers, talented staff, great leadership, engaged happy children... says it all.
