TEACHER ARE NOT QUALIFID AND THEY HAVE FAVERATES STUDENT THAT ARE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING. THERES NO LOCKER AND STUDENT HAVE TO CARRY BOOKS AND BAG. MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER ARE MEAN AND NO CAFATERIA.

West Valley is a school of committed staff who teach through Christ and promote learning and growth. I have always felt safe and thankful to send my daughter to West Vallet. The administration and staff are invested in learning. The students learn and grow each day. I highly recommend West Valley Christian School!

In my experience with West Valley I have found the teachers to be fully engaged with the students and keep the parents well informed. It is a great environment for the kids. You don't necessarily have to have a faith based back ground to enroll your child here but, a good understanding of the bible is a plus. Parents are encouraged to engage in voluntary service to the school. They have a greats sports program, and extra curricular programs will teach leadership, accountability, teamwork and respect for others. The staff is wonderful and their techniques are very effective. I am very pleased with our decision to enroll our child in this school.

Our son loves this school, the teachers and staff members are very professional and overall the environment is family oriented guiding always to learn and obey the word of God.

My child goes attebds middle school. He was much happier on the elementary side Some of the teachers are a little mean because they put down the low performers by classing them by rank. My kid is not a high performer and feels bad about himself. The reading teacher is kind of abrasive.buyer. Buyer beware.

Very caring teachers who individualize instruction to help meet the needs of all students. Very rigorous so its not easy but the students are challenged to push themselves in order to gain mastery and grow to become leaders in their community.

Not a great school if you have a child that requires extra help or modifications. They are not equipped to handle students on IEPs.
With that being said, if your child does not meet their academic goals, then they are required to sit out of physical education as punishment.
At the middle school, The science teacher is phenomenal, however, the rest of the staff struggles with effective and consistent communication.
I would not send your child here if they require any sort of extra help in academics. My child came home very stressed out on a regular basis.

As an active duty military member that comes from a family of pastors with ponytails, I thought sending my child here was the right idea. However I was wrong when my child showed me the code of conduct they want us to sign stating boys cant wear ponytails, however also brings me home the history book teaching my child about men with their ponytails. This is the most judge mental, MONEY HUNGRY school you will ever find.

Ever since our son started he's loved the programs. Preschool was great, Kindergarten 10-15 mins of homework a night and now first grade same thing. The west side doesn't have that many great schools, spend the money and send them where they can get a great education and a christian foundation.

Came from a nearby over-rated Charter school after enduring non-licensed/non-certified, under-educated, non-teaching credentialed new-grad folks off the street; deploying arbitrary, non-communicated policies which were questionable at-best, abusive at-worst. Our Kindergartner was nothing short of traumatized within the first few weeks of school at that Charter school and we pulled her and sent her here. Holy moly what a difference! The teacher with mounds of experience, an appropriate temperament and wait for it...a Masters Degree! Yes, she is certified, experienced and formally educated in the instruction of children and early childhood development! Days folks...a matter of days our little Kindergartner went from full on hysterical crying, begging not to go back to the aforementioned over-rated Charter school in Goodyear, AZ to excited to wake up and go. She loves this place! So thankful for West Valley Christian!

We haven't experienced this but as a faith based school and with our encounters with staff gives us assurances if an issue were raised it would be handled properly.

Just OK unless your student becomes the target of a bully. They will not stop it if it neans losing a tuition. Instead they tell us that Jesus said we would be persecuted and we must learn to deal with it and grow from it. Omg

There are a few really GREAT teachers at WVCS, and I mean GREAT! They are the glue that kept us there for so many years, and the ones that caused us to leave really should find new careers, because teaching is not what they do best.

I can say that my child is a better person because of his BEGINNINGS at WVCS, as a small child he had some of the best teachers the school has to offer and they gave him a great Christian foundation which he holds fast to. I would not trade that for anything!

The leadership is so busy trying to keep the peace, and be politically correct that things get brushed under the carpet. Things happen every where, I know this but when it is a constant occurrence and literally NOTHING is done that is a problem. You can not count on the fact that if your child is treated poorly by other students that ANYONE will stand up for them and go to the mat to change it! No one wants to rock the boat!

I think that they are trying, however... my child is wayyy behind the curve as are many others.We hired a tutor to be sure that in the future our child would be able to keep up. He was tested at the end of the year and determined he was working way below what he should have been doing! He spent an entire year doing the work of a 3rd grader, even in meetings as I told the staff he came home crying about the work because it was TOO EASY... they never changed it until it was known that we were leaving the school.

Things that should be addressed by staff and parents are just brushed off and parents are NOT even called! My child would come home and tell me things that blew me away!!! I still cannot believe some of the things that went on and there was LITERALLY NO repercussions for the students in the wrong, which means it just kept on going... and eventually my child quit telling anyone! That scared me the most!

All in all, my child looked at this place as home. We were part of WVCS since pre-school. And in all honesty, I wish things were different so that we could finish out here but I pulled my child out First, because I feel that the EXTREMELY high tuition does not equal what you/your child gets in return in education,safety, & extra curricular activities. 2nd... I feel that administration has lost sight of the kids and worries more about how to get more money, which leads to my other big complaint... tuition is extremely high, yet there is a constant call for money! It feels like they are passing the basket constantly... it never quits, my family members even got texts and calls!

My daughter started preschool at WVCS this year. We were a little unsure if we wanted to send her to preschool as it meant she was growing up. We checked into many schools and decided we liked the mindset at WVCS. Upon meeting Ms. Rebecca, our daughter's teacher, we were please and every day our daughter came home excited about school. You can tell the faculty and staff care about the kids. We've signed our daughter up for the 4yo preschool class already and in another year we'll have our son there as well. You won't be disappointed, this is a great school with a heart for God and children!!!

I have my 4 year old son going to west valley's preschool and it's amazing! They do a great job in selecting their teachers. They are patient, kind and very tolerant towards very active preschoolers. My son loves his class and his teacher. We are very grateful to have found an amazing school that focuses above all in a great Christian education.

This school has made tremendous improvements. They participated in the AIMS testing a couple years ago and far outperformed the public schools. They have changed ownership and are now independent, have new leadership, and have their own campus. Their staff and teachers show a tremendous amount of professionalism while treating our family in Christian love and understanding. A great partnership! Happy all the way around!

My kids started at Trinity Lutheran as Preschoolers & Kinder. We had nothing but complaints after complaints about my son. I was starting to believe that my son is a trouble maker. Every day my son would come home with a letter of his "wrongdoings" (for example: he was loud --- he was 4 when he started there). Thank GOD that PCUS opened in the Goodyear. We moved our children to PCUS mid 1st grade and have never been so happy that we did! My so-called trouble maker son was excelling & he has outgrown his "loudness" and my daughter continues to be a straight A student. The teachers are not only professionals, they are also compassionate, very patient, and passionate about what they do. Our principal, Mr. Start, is the best! This school is a blessing for our family.
