This school is not aware of what happens on their campus. They are not aware of the bullies or the students who cause problems with new kids intentionally. They start rumor and pick on the kids then turn around and play victim. There are some teachers at the school related to some other students causing issues and they use their authority to keep those kids out of trouble. We already spoke to the school before the situation got out of hand. Now they keep threatening and trying to meet up after school at a park behind the school. They have family member calling and making threats and no one is doin anything. The school sets up these pointless meditator programs and even places the victim in ISS. I have had several family members come to this school and get messed with by the same 5 boys. Why are they not being looked into. There are school camera they need to start utilizing them because there is a lot of things goin on, on their campus that they are not aware of. This school has a bad history of bullying. It's obvious they are not able to protect the students. It's sad most of the schools in the Fowler school district are rated low with the most complaints.

As a new kid who attended for a semester its not a bad school. The school opened my shell a bit and also depending on the people you meet their welcoming especially towards us new students creating at great student atmosphere. The admin I think could be better though. The counselors are good but I feel could try to promote more on college readiness and also try to help the students more with their classes but take advanced and AP courses as their packed with students who are their for the subject and take it seriously as well take try out the ACE Program and the new ASU Junior Academy. Sports also needs to also be taken more seriously by the admin. As well the school does lack school spirit a bit but still I would highly recommend to go in involved in every school activity you can such as clubs, dances, & games. So should you send your kid there. I would recommend yes and if the student doesnt seem to like it look into other options but this school has a pretty good atmosphere, extra curricular activities, and classes which are slowly expanding each year it just needs to improve academically with finding and replacing some teachers, leadership, admin, and students need to get more involved.

Its decent as some teachers give pretty reasonable amounts of homework and under subjects taught but there are some teachers here and there who forget we go to school to be taught by a teacher.

When it comes to teachers it depends because the staff isnt all that good dont get me wrong there are good teachers and I was fortunate enough to have great teachers but I feel some and most could step up or leave.

It can doesnt teachers might not be great but try their best to collaborate and connect with their students and the atmosphere is also pretty good for a public school and it really helps as tends to make the school more comfortable.

The school has different types of programs for any those either in special needs or those who learn in different ways but I would say to talk to counselors and teachers if you having trouble learning

Many teachers try to promote themselves as shoulders to depend on which is great but there is only so much they can do and I feel the main admin could do much better to bullying on campus but not much happens but yes for those who go through it for the admin to truly listen and step up and help.

Horrible, as a student, they treated my family and I like trash. I see my friends having problems too. No one is trying to fix those problems. Not only that, but they're money hungry.

This school is dismal. Your child won't learn, your child will be disrespected, your child will be exploited, your child will have to participate in district activities that do nothing when you have a senior paper due. This is literally, sincerely, truly, the worst school there is the state of Arizona, professionally.

The teachers have a lack of communication with parents even when the parent attempts to make contact never return calls back and get mad for going to the school. Front office is disrespectful and don't help. They don't take no ones problem serious. When students late they say the students are like the parent useless. This school needs to change.

Sierra Linda High School is a poorly taught school with poor teachers. The classes are not challenging and the teachers behavior and actions show that they are careless whether we pass or not. The school bathrooms are unsanitary and contain a various amount of vandalism along with classroom books and the discipline consequences are completely ridiculous; the punishment does not fit the "crime". The school has had many endangerments dealing with shootings and bomb threats making students afraid of the next day of school because of the various events that have taken place. The peers in classes are completely unfocused and are more interested in their personal lives and technology rather than getting an education. Their conversations and language are completely inappropriate and unacceptable for school or any environment. The students give up so easily without trying their hardest or their best let alone asking a teacher for any help. The teachers have a lack of communication with parents even when the parent attempts to make contact. The teachers have very foul mouths, are careless, and inappropriate. I am very happy I do not have to return to this school after summer break ends.

This school is managed very poorly. Staff is very unprofessional. Teachers do not even teach.

Its a really good school my kids have been attending since 2011! My Kids will be graduating from this school! The front staff and teachers are great, The IEP staff are really concerned with the kids, and their ability to be more succesful. It does need some Funds, being a new school thats how it starts little by little. My daughter in middle school and son in elementary will be attending this school also Thanks! Mr. Madrid (principal) This is a no student left behind!

The girls' sports staff and program is horrid. It would be nice if they could win a volleyball or softball game. Embarressing coaching! These are still children and need your instruction as well as PRAISE. I've never heard a positive or encouraging remark from the coaches during any games.
