So far what I think is the overall focus should be TEACHING the children not trying to discipline them. The learning coach should be in charge of the discipline and teachers should be in charge of teaching kids with a mind set of all kids are different. Some like to talk, and write in chat and be involved others do not and don't feel comfortable directly being involved. If a teacher feels their are students that may not be listening then send an email to the learning coach. It's a waste of time hearing a teacher calling out students that they believe are not paying attention. If the chat is off topic then turn it off. Don't make it a big deal. If there is a problematic student then contact learning coaches. Don't threaten the student that you are going to call their learning coach in the middle of class. Just contact their learning coach. The point of homeschool is no distractions and focus on learning

Administration at this school is very hard to reach when you have a difficulty. They do not return phone calls in a timely manner or at all. In my dealings with the registrar, she was snippy and rude, both on the phone, and in person, and seemed bent on doing the least she could do to help me with my issue every step of the way.

Teachers are nice, but administration is impossible to deal with if you run into any problems.

My daughter has been enrolled in this school for two years now after brick-and-morter just weren't cutting it due to her anxiety. We have found the online classes fairly robust and challenging. I really love the fact that the online modules allow students to re-do work until they master the topic, instead of moving on if they fail something, like traditional school tends to do. Teachers are available and respond immediately to questions in the online class, or one-on-one if requested. My daughter used to be very depressed and have low self-esteem, and she never spoke up in class. Now I see her participating in the online classes and feeling proud of the work she accomplishes! It's so nice to work at her own pace and own schedule during the day, that it has freed her up to pursue other interests instead of being stuck in a desk all day. My only complaint is the teachers and classes tend to suffer from a lot of technical difficulties, and the help-desk is challenging to work with. Overall, my daughter received all "exceeds" on the AZ merit testing and is on the college track, and we are happy to stay with this school through the end of highschool!

If your child is completely inept can barely do mathematics, can barely read or is completely unfunctional in society please register the school. My daughter went to high school here for her first part in ninth grade the worst experience ever.
