I went to this school for 4 years. Now that I am older and in high school I look over everything from that school to this day and realize how awful it was. The principals NEVER had their priorities straight. In my experience Ive seen racism be let off with a slap on the wrist and bullying too, with my own eyes. Bullying and racism was repeated. Teachers had seen me be bullied almost everyday and I even cried in class several times. Still, not much was done about it and Im not the only one whos been through this. The reason I say the principals do not have their priorities straight is because while these incidents went unreported due to teachers just not caring enough, I was suspended for 3 days due to stealing a cinnamon roll. Also, dress code was way more important than caring about the students feeling safe and welcomed at school I feel like. Another thing Id like to talk about was the blatant favoritism with the teachers AND principals. As I discussed earlier, I was bullied very much. Every time Id try and defend myself maybe Id say something along the lines of shut up. The student who bullied me would get coddled by the teacher and Id be in trouble. Also you were literally able to sneak out of the school like it was nothing.. so 0/10 for security and there was no security cameras when I was there. Also I remember there was a student who was special needs and he was bullied SEVERELY. One day I remember he broke down and cussed out all of the teachers to their face. I never saw him again. I dont know what they did to protect that student but Id assume very little because clearly it had got to him. In 4th grade the assistant principal had suspected I was bisexual and for some reason it was so important she had to tell my mom, I bring this up because for one, why do you care about the genders I crush on? Two, what if my mom is a raging homophobe? You dont just do that! There is so much things and stories Id love to share but I think they would all exceed the 2500 letter limit. With that being said do better with this school. Learn how to manage bullying and stop babying the offender with a phone call home, maybe lunch detention if the principals are hangry.

Legacy School has been a great experience for our family. The teachers are caring, supportive, and truly invested in the students success. The school provides a safe, welcoming environment with strong academics and excellent communication with parents. Weve seen positive growth both academically and socially, and we appreciate the dedication of the staff and administration. Highly recommend to families looking for a supportive and well-organized school community.

I really liked this school. My son was in the second grade with Ms. Sierraan excellent, very professional teacher who employed effective strategies. I was very pleased with her. My son made significant improvements. Thank you.

I have had my child here since kinder and he is now going into 3rd grade. I love the academic approach , their curriculum, the communication they have and how everyone cares. They have a consistent homework , books reports and poem presentations which require parents/kids to be involved.
They have resources , clubs and before/after school care that make it easy for working parents. I recommend Legacy to anyone that asks me and this campus is hands down involved.

Safe, efficient, and healthy school environment. I used to pick up an elementary student from LTS Phoenix. I enjoyed seeing the rigor in the work she brought home and noticing how well she was mastering the learning objectives.

As a teacher for Legacy Traditional School, who also has a child here, I can honestly say that this is a school I would recommend. Yes, there are times when all the students may feel that there is a lot of work, but our school is preparing them for high school, where they will be even more challenged. The amount of parent participation here is also amazing. My child loves the school and is learning a great deal from the PreK program, which is preparing him for what he will start to learn in kindergarten.

I absolutely love this school and the curriculum they offer. My daughter has grown so much academically and socially since attending. The lessons are engaging and age-appropriate, and I love how they focus on both core subjects and critical thinking skills. The teachers truly care about the students and make learning fun and meaningful. The school environment feels safe, positive, and welcoming. I also appreciate how well they communicate with parents and involve families in school activities. Im so grateful to have my child in a school that values education and character development!

Terrible experience with Legacy Traditional. Almost anywhere else would be better for your childs academic development. Theyve lost my Kindergartener on her way out. Howsa pm Kindergartener considered tardy at 9 am? They send them out to play extra recess til 11 when they are supposed to actually start instead of being in class as an all day kinder. Staff will not let you pick up unless you have physical ID, even when they know who you are and you drop them off daily. The kinder teacher complained by email several times that she doesnt have time/want to expend much effort to work one on one with students if they are struggling. They use a special phonics program called Spalding, but they dont explain to parents how to make the sounds and they do not supply the official cards or access to the app for home use. Parents can choose to purchase the app. They blocked off more than 1/2 of the parking lot with cones and barriers so you have to park really far away to walk to the office or the pickup gate. This whole school year Ive never seen a single security guard on the campus. They have some exterior locking doors, but the front office desk is big, long, and completely unprotected; someone could literally climb right over and go multiple ways through open doors into the interior areas. They disregard parent wishes for child to eat home lunch only and allow them to get a school lunch then charge a fee for the lunch. They will not remove lunch fees for a kindergartner who was furnished a school lunch without parents permission. If child struggles, they take months to agree with parents to test for diagnosis even when siblings showed the same signs and had established Dx and 504 in place. Parents do not have access to check lost and found-weve lost several jackets, 6 or 7 lunch boxes/bags, multiple water bottles and 2 backpacks-none have been returned as they expect students to claim their items. They have zero couth and regularly refuse respecting boundaries between multiple household students. Information communication is heavily weighted in favor of one parents household vs the other parent. They do not have to inform you if the other parent made any changes to your childs information, such as pickup list or changing the address on file. They will not allow separate parents households a separated login-just one login for one student. Not worth the hassle or anguish this horrible school will cause. Look elsewhere for your childs education.

We absolutely love Legacy! Our daughter is learning so much with the help and guidance of these teachers. Her state scores were well above average and it had us so proud of her. The staff has always been supportive no matter what the topic is. They have an after care program that helps her complete her homework, there are many clubs she can participate in throughout the year, they taught her the pledge of allegiance and cursive, and she has built positive relationships with her peers. We cannot say enough good things about Legacy.
