I have two children that go to this school, and one has been going for 8 years. This school has shown a lot of growth in their support and dedication to the well-being of its students. They focus on safety, and they provide support where it is needed to keep the students at the center. Seeing how the teachers collaborate with one another, along with the different events they have is great way to build community, and that is so important to us. We love how engaging it is, and I am very happy to have my children be a part of such a great community.

This is our daughter's second year at Edison and I can say that it has greatly benefitted her. it has been a great experience so far and she is able to do things she would not be able to do in other schools.

I have two children who attend here and they absolutely love it. The staff members are so caring and supportive especially, Mrs. Green! We are more than grateful for all the heart and hard work you all put into our children.

This school is amazing! This is my daughter's 7th year with them, and there's school's way closer to our house this year. All of the staff obviously care about their job and the students, I am (and have been for 7 years) so grateful for this school and would recommend them to everyone.

We live across the street from a Legacy school, so naturally itd be more convenient for our son to be thereor so we thought, until we found ESI. Our sons not just another number here. Every staff member knows him by name, they know us by name; when he was out sick he was greeted back warmly by all the staff. My point being, the staff is intentional about their students & their families. Our sons grown tremendously here with the STEM curriculum & his competency & newfound confidence blows us away. As parents it gives us peace of mind knowing hes in safe hands with the consistent updates the staff provide about his progress. Diversity is important to us & ESI has a wide variety for our son to experience here. The staff do their best offering a well rounded experience for students outside of the classroom. Were newbies to the pick-up/drop-off system & have yet to experience an issue. Its organized & its all hands on deck as you can see they prioritize each students safety. Its not rocket science as long as adults are courteous enough to act in a manner that they expect their children to act in public, then its reciprocated. ESI was the one of the best decisions we couldve made for our son!

We have had a great experience thus far with this school and hoping to continue or even be better moving forward. My kid started going to ESI since K and is in 2nd grade now. As a parent, I had noticed some great things at this school - staff supporting students when needed, project based learning, curiosity in students, good manners! One unique thing we found at this school is the course/subject on Garden from early stages. My kids understanding on gardening is amazing and has been beyond my level of usual expectations. I did not hear about such a dedicated course in other schools (I could be wrong). Knowing the limitation of the real estate available, the staff truly does an amazing job in coordinating a super safe drop-off and pick-up environment. You could see almost all the staff during pick-up time in making sure safety protocols are met.

Everyone takes care of one another and everyone cares for all kids as their own. Very respectful environment and the engagement with teachers is amazing. I get something communicated to me each day on how my childrens school day went or what they are doing in class.

Very racist school. They employ drug users and my kiddos had a rough time with the office because they were Native Americans. Ms. Rose is more concerned with her friend circle and allowing personal family to work there rather than qualified teachers. Very disappointed.

This school allows parents to bully students. They allow parents to come on campus and berate students with 0 consequences. When a parents is concerned and asks for accountability they retaliate and take it out on the student. They don't teach they focus on one or two specific things so the students will pass the state test. As far as stem learning I was not seeing it. Overall I don't feel this school offers the stem education and the safety for it's students it advertises.

Edison School of Innovation is a great choice for any parent to enroll their child into a learning program that offers an enriching experience focusing on STEM instruction that engages and challenges each individual. All of the staff here are experienced, kind and welcoming. I'm very pleased by my child's progress over the course of two years being enrolled at Edison.

We moved our 2nd grader here mid year and she was welcomed and the transition was very easy. The teachers are easy to communicate with and the whole staff is very nice all seem to love the students

Edison School of Innovation was my son's choice. We did a walkthrough of a different larger school in the area and he chose Edison and I am happy he did. The staff is great & he loves his teacher & aide. He will definitely be coming back for first grade.

This is the worst school you can send your kids to. Constant bullying and the principal doesn't even care. She has favorites and picks and chooses who gets in trouble and who doesn't. She's rude and very unprofessional. If you want your kids in a safe environment this is not the school for your kids. This school should be shut down or replace that rude miserable principal.

Bullying is not taken seriously at Edison School of Innovation. The staff routinely downplay incidents and fail to step in when students are targeted. Instead of supporting the children who are being bullied, the administration often shifts blame back onto the victims. This has created an unsafe culture where bullying is normalized and those responsible are not held accountable.

To make matters worse, bullying incidents are purposefully underreported to keep the schools record looking clean. Parents are given the impression that bullying is not a problem here, but the reality is very different. This lack of honesty and transparency is unacceptable and puts students at risk.

No child should have to feel unsafe at school, yet that is exactly what happens at Edison. Parents deserve to know the truth before enrolling their children, and until there is real accountability and meaningful change, I cannot recommend this school.

I love working at Edison School of Innovation. There is definite sense of community amongst the staff and students. The curriculum is rigorous and prepares students for high school and beyond.

My child is attending their 3rd year at Edison and weve had nothing but positive experiences with teachers and staff. Theres been a couple times Ive needed to have a classroom issue addressed and both times the teachers listened and helped resolve the issue. The staff works hard to ensure success for all students.

The bullies here are the teachers and administration. The kids are just good. They do not know how to deal with middle school students specially if they are in a bad mood. Math teacher closed his fist out of frustration for example . My kid was told by the music teacher to stop being a victim when he tried to defend himself. Also they dont want the student to question their integrity (dont want to be proven wrong) but they are the first ones to question the student integrity. Middle school students need more than a teacher yelling at them for any reason and not listening to them. Respect goes both ways.

The administration and support staff are "top notch"--student-centered, organized, friendly, good communicators and professional. All of the teachers that I got to know were experienced, had good rapport with students and gave students the chance to do creative projects my kids really enjoyed. (I had 3 kids in the school and I volunteered weekly.) Kinder and 1st grade incorporated dance, music and art in fun ways to reinforce reading and math. I love that they let kids have flexible seating--there are chairs and carpets--kids can be at a desk or work on the floor or counter. The discipline program is the best system I have seen to reinforce/reward good behavior and pull out the kids who are not behaving or socially causing problems for them to reflect and be coached by an adult in how to do better before they go back to the classroom. My 2nd grader has mild dyslexia and pull out help was critical in catching him up to grade level. For most of the kids--class is so meaningful and fun that there are not a ton of behavior issues anyway. Project Lead the Way STEM is excellent. The Vex robotics club was popular and really cool. Musical Theater club was terrific. Model Club was super fun. This school was better than many private schools and definitely the best public school (K-8) I have experienced in 30 years as a teacher.
