Same course 1 teacher will be very strict and the other is a joke who lets students sleep. No consistency. Students can choose to fail and the faculty lets them happily.

If you are not actively producing results for their athletics departments you may as well be invisible. Varsity football players can do basically anything they want to anyone without proper recourse from faculty.

Faculty continually disrespects students. Takes personal home life vendettas out through treatment of students. One several occasions i had been asked if the incident i found myself in warranted father or mother contact. Despite repeated pleas feom me that my father was deceased. Freshly so. Despite telling them repeatedly the leadership of the school continually reminded me of the death.

They exploit them to collect recyclables and learn basic assembly line techniques for base level work as well as training them to sell items in a store.

Zero tolerance means someone can not care about being punished amd drag the other person down with them by provoking an unwanted physical encounter and getting both students suspended.

After graduating i enlisted and honorably served 4 years. Upon completing my schoolhouse training and returning home on leave i gave the faculty my Military uniformed photo from bootcamp to display with other school alumni as honorably served and they threw away my photo and asked me not to return to the premises any further.

Very poor school to attend.

I went here for all four years of my high school career and couldn't have gone to a better school. The campus is fantastic. The teachers are amazing. I had some of the greatest experiences learning here. I am proud to be a graduate of VCHS! Go Jags!!! Hoo-rah!!! Class of 2006!!!

My school is one of the best schools in San Diego county. Our after school program or ASE(After School Enrichment) as we call it, is a great place for students who are struggling in a subject or class. There are a variety of classes one can attend at ASE, almost all of them are covered! Our teachers are very nice and friendly and willing to help out any student that comes to them. One of our teachers, Mrs. Reineck, won the San Diego county teacher of the year award! It is always sad when a class graduates because we are friends with each other and our teachers, there is no class separation as in other schools, and we even have music at lunch every day! This is one of the best schools I have ever attended!

I went here for four years and I believe it is a fantastic school. The administration are friendly and relatable, most of the teachers are top-notch, it is a smaller school but with it there comes a friendly feel to it, vchs is a great community and location to learn both educational and life lessons. This school is all about its football program which makes sense since there is not a lot to do in vc except go to football games on friday and hang out with friends (sometimes that can be hard though since no one lives next to each other here) Social Life: There are always cliques at schools, with such a small population a good social life can be hard if you are not good at making friends or you simply have lost friends and cannot join any groups that avoid those friends. (I think this is pretty stupid but it happens) Athletics: Very Good for the size of school Positive or negative???: You know everyone Negative: Not a lot of classes or electives VCHS had a drug problem over the years but since our administration instated a zero tolerance policy it has greatly diminished, furthermore displaying our administrations awareness and ability to effectively and efficiently resolve an issue.

School is average, it has a great athletics program, bullying and drugs are a problem at this school. Money is not spent wisely here and they do not release figures of what they are spending. Counselors were not very helpful except one who really stood out. Administration is inefficient. School is falling apart and it is not yet 15 years old. School overall is not great, but they do have amazing teachers.

This school is average if you are not a jock, or popular you are forgotten, this is a terrible social school, If you are looking for a friendly campus with warm people, plenty of electives, languages, and athlethics that are okay go to Orange Glen, If you want to go to a campus with a very anti-social atmosphere, not many electives, only one language Spanish (and sign language, and English), but want a school with great athletics go to Valley Center.
