I’ve read the past comments/reviews and just want to comment and say that the school has gone through so much growth and change under its new leadership. Teachers are getting training and even advancing their schooling to be better teachers for the school. They have also updated the facility and many parents feel the school is very safe for their kids.

As an alum, this Christian school's commitment to college prep was evident in its curriculum and emphasis on values that continue to guide my life. The dedicated teachers, motivated by both faith and professionalism, actively pursued further education, ensuring a high standard of teaching that left a lasting impact.

The school's support for sports and extracurricular activities created a holistic environment for personal growth. Whether it was engaging in sports or participating in student counsel, musicals, the opportunities were diverse, fostering a well-rounded experience that enriched my time there.

A distinctive feature of the school was its dedication to education from a Christian perspective. Integrating faith into daily lessons provided a unique learning environment, encouraging critical thinking and moral development.

My time at fabba was transformative. It not only equipped me academically but also played a crucial role in my personal and spiritual development.

As a current student in FABBA, I can say that it had changed my life. Before I went to this school, I was surrounded by bad influences, but when I came to FABBA, my whole attitude had truly and genuinely changed for the better. I now have a real relationship with God and it’s not just an “act” anymore. FABBA provides good teaching and the “yelling and shouting” is out of love and compassion because they feel personally connected to the kids. It provides good Bible teaching and encourages a student’s personal walk with God. The teachers are like my second parents and I feel comfortable enough to go to them for anything. The students are very kind and welcoming too. I’ve been at FABBA for almost four years now and I can genuinely say that I have enjoyed the entirety of my time here.

No school is perfect. I truly believe FABBA and the faculty do their best to provide a quality, Christian education. No matter what the profession, there is always room for improvement. FABBA has evolved and is still evolving into making sure they are both serving the parents and students as best as they can. As a parent, I am thankful to have a place like FABBA where my children can grow, learn and develop academically and spiritually.

I graduated from this school 12 years ago and I made countless memories and many life lessons that still stay with me till this day. Many years has passed and more alumni’s who graduated from this academy still come back to be a part of the school. Every staff there from elementary to high school even the office workers work very hard to make this school even better then it was when I was there. I guarantee your child will make countless memories there and learn many valuable life lessons there!

I have graduated, but I still have many close friends who attend FABBA. I am writing this review because of the pride the faculty possesses that only seems to get worse by each school year. During my time in high school, we were told that “We are Christians first, then a school.”

Lets start there. Yes, you a self proclaimed Christians! It is in the name; but, you run as an educational system whose job it is to mentor and teach. Teaching Christian ethics is great until you start enforcing and mandating acts instead of allowing students to reach that conviction/ decision on their own volition. Please explain to me how you can put a grade on someone’s “Christianity”. I knew many students who went to church, brought their Bibles to chapel, and knew how to put on the Christian act in front of a crowd! All things external.
Ironic how we are told that only what is in our heart matters, but we are given a grade on things such as our “Christianity”. If God is the only judge, then who are they to slap a grade on a students “Christianity” when it is impossible to know the true intentions of someones actions.

Hey FABBA staff, is it not ironic how you are quick to talk negatively on certain students, alumni, churches, parents, etc. but play the “defamation card” when the tables are turned? It really speaks volumes how a person accepts criticism. I believe that many problems would be solved if staff members who were actually open to self evaluation were hired, and those who refuse to listen, change, and let go of their pride, were let go. Lets be fair, or lets find another place to work where our pride does not tear down other people!

Don't send your children here. The faculty only ever care about making themselves and the school look good rather than looking out for the students' education and well-being.

My time at FABBA gave me some of the most memorable moments of my life. At FABBA, I developed skills to prepare me for adulthood and friendships that would last a lifetime.

This school has been awesome for my children. They have thoroughly enjoyed it and they are thriving and excelling as students. The school faculty communicate well with parents. Though no school is absolutely perfect regarding students or teachers, this small school has a great balance of strong academics, fun extra curricular activities, a welcoming and caring atmosphere, and strong Biblical teaching that helps to build strong character. The staff helps provide an educational experience enhanced with great memories through a fun sports program, student led activities that boost morale, fundraisers that help them unite to achieve common goals, musical productions that combine enjoyment with efforts and content that further God’s work, healthy competitions that cause students to grow. The core values of the school are grounded in the fundamentals of God’s Word and prove that a great education does not need flashy equipment and state of the art facilities, but the “old school” values of commitment to do all to God’s glory. Using the Abeka curriculum and all the combined decades of wisdom of dedicated staff members, this humble school has become excellent in my eyes as well as my kids. The kids who down play the school for teachers who “yell” or have “bad attitudes” are over focusing on the negative and not grateful for all that is positive about the school. They likely based those reviews on one or two rough days and are not accurate portrayals of the true character of the school.

Most teachers yell at us. Some of them tell us to not have a bad attitude but they end up being the one with a bad attitude. I love the students because we are all close and are always there for eachother though.

as a current student casually going through this all day its in me to lie. Teachers are often way to strict and make it impossible for us to give the truth. Were only trying to save ourselves from judgment toward us (which is often given)

most teachers are unexperienced and strict (claiming that they care when really they just want more trophies from competitions)
the facility is actually a church, and the classrooms arent ideal.
the rules turn you into a great christian actor but rarely a genuine christian.
barely any extra curriculor activities.
but the students are friendly

As a student who has attended this school since 3rd to 10th grade, I am very pleased with the academics and focus on God through the friendly atmosphere of its teachers and students. Their chapel services have taught me to be a REAL christian wherever I go and not a hypocrite. In the past, the school used the ACE curriculum (self study, has little textbooks called PACEs that have a required # students must complete)and attended regional and international conventions, but now transitioned to abeka curriculum(traditional classroom setting). A few highlight of my years at FABBA was playing volleyball at the salvation army, attending lancaster and north valley baptist fine art competitions.
