Our experience at Audeo has exceeded our expectations. Teachers and staff are amazing and caring. My son has the choice to go into the local center daily to get one on one help or do his work online from home or anywhere he has computer access. If he has a question, teachers are quick to respond. We could not be happier with Audeo.

My over all experience at this school was great! I attended for a little over 6 years. I came to Audeo in 6th grade because of bullying in public school. I was able to find comfort and security in this school.

The main reason why I like the homework system in this school is because it's flexible. There are some days where I'm unable to complete my daily homework, so I can just do it another day or even on the weekend.

My sons have both struggled in school for different reasons over the years. One had a lack of effort and the other is dyslexic and would get frustrated and give up when he would fall behind the class. I was beginning to think my older son would never be able to graduate. They are now completing their first month at this school and I have seen a complete turn around. They are working diligently and with less confusion. They know what they need to do and have such a great support system with this school. They are new kids with complete attitude changes, I wish I had found Audeo earlier. Think of all of the teenage arguments we could have avoided. Thank you Audeo and a special thank you to their awesome teacher Mr. Menestrina!

Audeo Charter is a wonderful alternative to a traditional high school campus. As a parent, I was initially reluctant to consider a charter school for my then 10th grade son. However, with much insistence from him, I gave Audeo a chance. I am happy and proud to say that my son completed the 11th and 12th grades there and graduated on June 9, 2016! We experienced nothing short of absolute professionalism combined with genuine care and concern. Each and every staff member at Audeo Kearny and Mission Valley always met and or exceeded my expectations, and provided great support. We have been at Audeo Charter for roughly 2 years and my son is thriving! Ms Diaz is an absolute miracle worker. Having failed 9th grade, I was very concerned to say the least! Now he has a 3.2 GPA and is looking forward to college. The counselor has also been great at keeping both of us on track and reaching goals. Overall In my opinion it is a well structured, safe and supportive learning environment. Also, if awards were given to teachers who truly give it 200% Ms Diaz would win hands down!!

My daughter's teacher, Mrs. Diaz, was incredibly nice and helpful. She made it a pleasant and productive experience for the times my daughter was at the physical location working on her course work. We liked that she was able to complete most of the class online but that if we had any questions, Mrs. Diaz was available and always replied and kept communicating with us through out the course. She was persistent with keeping up with my daughter's progress which helped keep her motivated but also allowed her to work at her own pace. Overall it was a great experience for us.

Our son took a class this summer to get ahead during the school year and it was a great experience for him. His teacher, Ms. Duvall, was positive, helpful, organized, and great at communicating with both the students and parents. Audeo offers a fantastic program! My daughter (a 10th grader) was able to get ahead and take another year of language over the summer so that she can now take other classes during the school year that interest her. The program was terrific and she learned a lot - she is excited to do it again next year. Great teachers (we loved Mrs. Prak) , flexible schedule, and a wonderful online program that lets the student set the pace.

Audeo is a great school because you can catch up on credits quickly, they offer a flexible schedule, the environment is welcoming and positive. Ever since freshman year, I had to be moving from city to city back and forth between schools due to personal and medical issues and it made me fall behind on my credits because the schools work differently so I had lost credits that I had already earned. Audeo was the best option for me, it helped me get back on track with my credits, I raised my GPA, I was motivated at Audeo. I would've still been in high school if it wasn't for Audeo. Mrs. Diaz was my teacher and she is the most amazing teacher. She helped me so much, motivated me, encouraged me, pushed me to be the best that I can be, I'm very thankful for having a teacher like Mrs. Diaz. The teachers try to help their students in any way that they can, they want to see the students succeed. I'm happy that I graduated from Audeo! I love this school and I'm forever thankful and greatful for Audeo and the amazing teachers.

My son recently graduated 12th grade through Audeo Charter School. We were extremely pleased with the whole experience. He was behind on credits and was able to catch up in a timely manner to graduate. The schedule is flexible and Mrs. Diaz was the best teacher my son has ever had by far! We tried other high schools in our area and they were very disappointing. I couldn't be more grateful to have found Audeo! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Audeo charter school is a great option for self motivated students. Our daughter was near the end of high school, and just wanted to finish her classes and be done. Audeo provided a structured program for her to finish in a reasonable amount of time. Audeo also provided relevant senior course work such as printing up a resume and filling out college applications.
My only word of caution is that your child MUST be motivated as most of the responsibility falls on them to get the work done.

Audeo Charter School has provided our son a successful alternative education option that trumps our local public middle school, which has become overly congested and intolerant to kids that don't fit into a convenient "one size fits all" mold. Our son works at his own pace and is doing great! He loves his teacher, Mrs. Daniels. He appreciates how she discusses his weekly progress one-on-one and gives him positive reinforcement to continue working toward his weekly goals. It's wonderful to see our son regain his confidence and thrive in school. We recommend this school highly and cannot say enough good things about it.

I came from a very crazy high school that didn't provide a lot of attention to each individual student. At Audeo, the teachers provide their attention to each and every student. They make time in their busy schedules to help with any questions you have. This was by far the best school I have ever been to. Especially the Kearny Mesa location. I loved my teacher Ms. Bunney. My son had developed cancer just prior to the holidays. This health issue required surgery. It affected his grades in both semesters of his senior year in high school. As a result, he needed to take/retake a few classes after all of his friends graduated. Being only seventeen at the time, and pushed out of his high school, my son needed to wait almost a full year, until he was 18, in order to go to adult education. Fortunately, an administrator let us know about the Audeo Charter school option in Pacific Beach. I'm very happy to say that he will be finished with the program in about two weeks and will be getting his high school diploma. Had he needed to go to Adult Ed, he would still be waiting to get started due to the timing of his birthdate. Also, this personal, independent, one on one program worked very well for him. We were very impressed with the teachers and layout of the program at his location in Pacific Beach. They truly cared about and for him. I wish I could say the same about his prior, traditional school environment. Please keep in mind that these were health conditions beyond his control.

Audeo is a really easy school because you can work at your own pace and wont have to rush to turn stuff in. I like Audeo because it is really easy and they help you so that you can get good grades. Audeo is a school that I would recommend to people in 6-12 grade because they wont have to go to school 5 days a week they would only have to go 3-4 days a week and you learn a lot in those 3-4 days.

My son attends Audeo's Pacific Beach Learning Center and is doing exceptionally well. He moved to this charter school more than 3 years ago, and it has made all the difference in how he succeeds in school. It took some time for me to move beyond thinking he was not receiving as well-rounded an education as traditional school; however, I am completely convinced that Audeo's personalized education, their teachers, and his freedom to work at his own pace is what is making my son the huge success he is today in school. I have been thrilled with my son's progress since he moved to Audeo Charter School. His teacher, Mrs. McManus, is first rate and truly cares about her students. She is always available to discuss his progress, and always knows exactly what is going on with him, something that simply never happened at his previous school. The one-on-one focus is perfect for making students always accountable: it is always very clear what assignments they need to complete, what they need to work on, and when it needs to be done by. This is a huge help to me as a parent, because I always had problems determining where my son was at any given point in the semester using just the online grading tools typically used in other high schools, and because his teachers simply were not responsive to requests for updates. In addition, my son says he is learning more at Audeo than he ever did at public high school, because he really has to understand the concepts before he can move on to the next section. While this makes it more challenging for him, this form of instruction is better preparing him for his next steps in education. Thank you Audeo for providing a great learning environment for my son!

I enjoy how great of an environment this school offers, for simply getting the school work and the credits finished this is a great school to participate in. However, due to being a charter school, this school lacks the socalistic envoirnment needed for a development of social skills and interaction with other students. The teachers are extremely friendly and it provides a quiet scene for accomplishing school work and studying.

I really like this school because they teach you more one on one. So i have more opportunities to get help. I would recommend Audeo Charter School because since the first day I got here my teachers have always been attentive about my work. They're always there to help you out, they show interest of your education, and they are always trying to keep you on track. Audeo has everything you need to become successful and most importantly to earn you high school diploma. I enjoy coming to this school do to its flexible schedule. This schools schedule allows me to enjoy my hobby's but more importantly support my family by working more hours and not be as tried as i would be in regular school. this school gives me an option of weather to attend school in the morning or afternoon witch allows me to attend work at different times of the day. before i would skip school in order to work but sins i transferred to Audeo not only am i doing good in my extracurricular life but in school. my grades have gone up significantly i was also able to join program named cadet corps i enjoy coming to this school and hope to graduate soon.

My daughter went from a 1.5 average in a well known public school to a 4.0 average here at Audeo. My daughter's confidence has soared as well as her thirst for knowledge. This has been the BEST experience for our son and we have chosen the BEST teacher, Mrs KImberlee Diaz. We see clear academic growth and a newly found desire in our son to accomplish his school work and to reach the goals we have set out for him. Audeo and their staff not only salvaged our sons "academic Career" but also took a confused boy and blossomed him into a intelligent young man. Our son could not find his way in the traditional school setting. He was board, scholastically unchallenged and lost in the "cookie cutter" San Diego public school "numbers game". By the close of the 5th grade, his confidence and outlook on school had drastically spiraled downhill. He started 6th grade at Audeo and is now a senior and maintaining a 3.35 GPA, scored 1600 on his first attempt at SAT's and is excited about going to college. This is all due to the wonderful staff and Audeo. Three individuals are responsible for his success. Courtney Stinson McManus, Nancy Gersac and Stephanie Chappell worked tirelessly and from their hearts, over the last six years, never wavering on their commitment to help him reach his full potential, regain his confidence and continue on to college. As parents, we couldn't have asked for a more dedicated, persistent and committed team of educators. We only hope other parents, who are experiencing the heart breaking problems from their child's academic involvement, can find this blessed remedy.

My daughter love the teachers here( Specially Ms. Gilmore) and all they are encourage and support my daughter best they can be and she is doing way better than last school. I Love Audeo Charter School because it improved My daughter Gabby's grades and citizenship. Gabby was not doing her work and hanging out with the wrong crowd, which resulted in getting almost straight F's. I took her out of regular school and I enrolled her in Audeo Charter School. Best Decision of my life. Gabby's grades went up, she was getting her credits needed. The teachers there are amazing, how they work one on one with the kids and how understanding they are with them. My son attends to Audeo school in Mission Valley and I am verry happy with the program. His teacher Mrs. Diaz gives him a lot of attention and helps him with his homework. The school encourages him to have a good career in the future. The flexibility in the school schedule allows him to learn other skills either at home or ROP programs. Home school is for kids who want to finish school soon and get a headstart in college

My son was attending Oceanside high School and he had completely shut down. Despite the constant Lock Downs and other activities going on he was just not interested in school anymore. He expressed that the Teachers shut down and stopped teaching and would make comments such as "The students care not to learn" and they would not put effort into teaching. Audeo Charter School has been OUTSTANDING. The Team that works with my son to include his teacher, Mrs. Andrew has been Fantastic. She has been so encouraging and works with him without rushing and making negative comments. My Son is encouraged and looks forward in getting to school and learning. Sometimes he gets discouraged because of the overwhelming assignments but when he comes home he is always talking about how GREAT the Staff is and the students don't fight and the Teacher's actually help the students when they are struggling. Thank you so much for accepting my son into the Charter Program and helping make a difference in his and our lives. The "Impact" is a Positive Effect and I tell EVERYBODY about the School... Thanks for having such an Awesome Staff and School Program.

My son and daughter graduated last year from Audeo Charter School in Mission Valley. I thank God for Ms. Szohr! She was wonderful with my children. They loved her and Audeo. They graduated HAPPY with high grades and LOVED their senior year at Audeo. Ms. Szohr was always there to help my children when I did not understand the work. She is compassionate, caring, supportive, and always keeps you informed on every aspect of their learning. My family always recommends Audeo Charter School. I am so happy we are at Audeo Charter School (Kearny Mesa). I went from having a daughter who hated school with a passion to a student who is doing fantastic at Audeo I had originally taken her to summer school in 2012 & we stayed. Mrs Orozco, her teacher, has found a way to support, encourage, and help my daughter in her studies & that is so miraculous to me. Thank you, Ms O! My daughter has ADHD and the school from the principal to the different resource teachers came together with me to form an IEP that keeps my daughter in her core classes but helps her to follow her work. We just had her annual review & its very insightful to have people who are passionate about my daughter's academics. So, a big thank you to all of the teachers and support teachers at the Kearny Mesa location, Ms O & Mr G just to name a few. Thank you for always finding a way to make learning fun for my daugher

After getting adjusted to the independent curriculum with the KM Audeo program, both of my children have really grown in their ability to be self motivated learners and have learned accountability for their time and assignments. For our family this program has provided us the exact learning environment needed, with the flexibility to still enjoy family life. Also, the teachers truly love what they do, it shows in the way they treat the kids and the support they provide. I highly recommend the Kearny Mesa location if you are fed up with the lack of accountability that the public school system provides!

Audeo charter school in carlsbad is great. We had the pleasure of having Mrs. Prak as our teacher. My daughter came from Mexico and was way behind in her high school credits. Mrs prak was compassionate and caring and just a wonderful influence on our little girl. If all teachers in the US were like Mrs Prak the world would be a better place.

My child prior to enrolling to Audeo charter had been struggling in school , she had Been having a I hard time finding her pace and understanding how to better manage her studies. Ever since enrolling to Audeo she has learned how to manage her time and studies to enable her to successfully learn And complete the courses required to finish high school. Audeo charter has an amazing staff that are dedicated to work with the students to enable them to succeed with there studies. They assist the students with the materials and moral support to finish the courses. I am very thankful for the staff and there support that have encouraged my child to continue with her studies and enjoy every day doing so.

My son attends Audeo Charter school in San Marcos. This has been a wonderful change for him, as well as, our entire family. My 15 year old HATED traditional public school. His grades were falling and he had a terrible attitude. Now that he is at Audeo, with Ms. Lucas, he actually likes to learn and go to school. His grades are up, attitude better and he thoroughly enjoys being more independent . My son is doing things at his own pace vs. a dictated pace at traditional. He can be an individual here. Thank God for Audeo. It has been our lifeline. We are very appreciative of Ms. Lucas. She is strict, yet compassionate, bright, supportive and funny-- to boot! She makes my son smile- something he rarely did before.

Audeo Charter in Mira Mesa I recommend very highly. My son has been attending since March of this past year and can say that he has been very happy here. In particular, his teacher Ms. Gillmore has been a true guiding source for him. She has truly shown caring and gone above and beyond for him. I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Audeo and its staff for all the support and caring they have shown my son and I. I hope for all the parents out there with challenging issues with the public school system in San Diego to really look at charter schools or independent study systems because I can say that personally it has been wonderful and better yet provided a safe place for my son to focus more on his studies. I wish Audeo Charter well in their future endeavors and many blessings for all current and future teachers. You all are the backbone of the successes for future generations.

My sons first year with Audeo Mira Mesa. I love the schedule and class room set up makes a world of difference for children who cant focus with a large classroom setting. The teacher (ms. Gillmore) was the absolute best teacher I have ever came across. They make it a comfortable setting for children to learn and complete tasks and lessons. Very personable staff as well. Wish more schools were like.

Adeo Altus Charter School is an excellent alternative to traditional public school. The staff is exceptional!! My child has improved leaps and bounds since first enrolling last year. The teachers give individualized attention to each student and use different learning tactics for each child, depending on what each one needs. My son went from hating school with extremely low self esteem, and low grades. He was well below grade level in all areas. In just one short year, he has gained great confidence and his grades have significantly improved. I would highly recommend this school to any and all parents who feel their child's education is lacking in any way.

Audeo charter in Escondido and Charter School of San Diego Mira Mesa have been wonderful to work with. The teachers and administration were helpful as opposed to the nightmare I dealt with in the public schools. Independent study did not turn out to be a good choice for our son but that was not the fault of the school; they were wonderful.

Run away! This is not an "over glorified homeschool". That insults homeschoolers. Audeo, Altus and Charter School of San Diego are ALL THE SAME SCHOOLS!!! Think about it. Kids are supposed to learn from the book at their own pace, do the work, and get out fast. The teachers are there as guides. WRONG!!! There are no single subject credentialed instructors. There are no instructors familiar with the details of any lesson plan at the time the student asks a question. For the two "part-time" multiple subject credentialed teachers there are usually 3 "aides" who apparently are "highly qualified" parents.This might work if they had the proper curriculum. But they are using INCOMPLETE and OUTDATED traditional school curriculum. The lesson guides are so old that the teachers can't do anything but make photocopies of old photocopies. The curriculum there was meant for a portion to be presented by a teacher and the students to have online access, neither of which is happening. Their teachers are really great at double speak, and would make very good marketing and sales reps for an Enron type company. This school is just a way for someone to scam taxpayers and skim off education funding.

Terrible, Terrible school. The teachers do not contribute at all and have to look at textbooks just to be able to comprehend the criteria. Waste of time. They do not let you work at your own pace like most charter schools do. Each teacher only has about 40 students but they decide that wandering around is better than keeping up with their children.

My daughter is a freshman and has attended Audeo Charter School in Kearny Mesa for part of 8th grade and all of 9th. She will continue through to high school graduation. Her teacher, Ms. Bunney, is fantastic. We stay in close touch about all of my daughter's coursework and progress. My daughter is very bright but has emotional difficulties. She is succeeding at Audeo beyond our dreams. If you have a child who just can't fit into a traditional school, Audeo could be the answer. I highly recommend asking the teacher to work with you to set up an individualized contract with you and your child, and to have all expectations clearly spelled out. Always keep tabs on how your child is doing everyday and every week, and use consequences and rewards to help them meet their educational goals.

This is the worst decision I have ever made as a parent. A complete waste of time and tax payer money. Numerous "teachers" at the classroom, but nobody can answer the questions. My kids did not receive any teacher instruction. It was home school at a different location. No accountability with the staff and nobody can answer any of the questions coming from a parent. Just transferred to a different school and it turns out my son's year plus here resulted in just 3 classes towards advancement to 8th grade. And never an email or phone call stating he was behind. And the main office thinks that maybe his transcript is incomplete that he must have more credits. Just a terrible way of doing business.

This school is by every means awful ! If you want your time and education wasted well then walk rite in to Audeo Charter School. I have delt with the educational system in Hawaii ( which has one of the Worst educational systems in all the U.S . But sadly Audeo Charter School has raised the bar on neglecting the education of their students . The teachers at these particular chain of schools changes every 6 months to a year so if there's any discrepancy that someone needs to be held accountable for , tough luck. They are like ghosts , floating in and out of schools never really teaching or making any connections.

charter school of san diego teachers are very good and care about there students. the administrator or principle that is a different story. i think money is the only thing they are interested in. i think cssd could concentrate on academics but also make it posible for seniors to go to prom and gradnite since those are not school specific and many schools go at the same time. there is only one senior prom and my daughter who is a good student will not get to have one it my not seem like a big deal when you start out but when your student becomes a senior and realizes she does not have that it is to late. keep your student in regular school.
