This school really fulfilled the promises that it makes to its students. However, if you want to have a fun and exciting non repetitive school life i would recommend looking elsewhere. This school really allows us to have a strong bond with our classmates and teachers which is good because teachers know how we learn best. They also provide solutions to the needs of students and most teachers in this school really care about your education. Something some students don't like about this school is that we aren't allowed to wear much jewelry or makeup as well as dying our hair or painting our nails or having fake nails. They are also very strict in the uniform and they will ask you to take off sweaters that aren't part of the uniform even though it is freezing. The sports aren't that good but the mentoring program is amazing. They also have strong leadership roles and more opportunities for success. So, If you want to live an organized school life where you can grow in your faith i would recommend coming here but if you are more spontaneous and expressive look elsewhere. Also they don't provide lunch just breakfast and snack.

It does by giving you the options of different learning methods but, they might go to fast and youll wont catch up .

There is no bullying, someone is always telling the teacher.

I agree because the teacher will always help you to improve yourself, by telling you the right thing to do so youll make the right choice .

Its both, mostly because they all expect you to be equal, no one is higher than someone else. Since the envoirment is like this stepping up to be leader may be difficult at times.

Yes they are because they try to make the most of the 1 - 1 1/2 class with fun activities, to make sure you get the most of your education.

I would rate it a 6 mostly because I didnt really enjoy my time there but much few friends made the most out of it.

They do have an effective approach because they have you do the work and I if you do not meet their needs youll have to redo it till it does meet their needs.

My experience at Nativity was incredible. I enjoyed every second from it, and have learned so much. The teachers, classmates, and mentors are wonderful people that fully support you. There are many resources and opportunities that allow each student to grow, and learn. I honestly recommend this school to everyone.

I would rate my experience as a small community but it is a very close school and everyone is very welcome.

As a former student at Nativity, I can safely say that this school is responsible for my development not only as a student, but also as a person. In my time here, I learned about respect, integrity, and how one should act in an ever changing world. Without the help of Nativity, I would not have been able to succeed socially and academically at St. Augustine High School, nor would I have been able to attend such a school without the financial aid that Nativity provides for its graduates. The support from the teaching staff is unparalleled, and the lesson wont continue until everyone fully understands the concept. Thanks to Nativity, not only was I able to become a better student, but also a respectful young man.

I have been involved with this school for 12 years as a community volunteer. This is one of the most amazing schools I've ever seen. It is community supported and provides a phenomenal education to children living in poverty. This school makes an 11-year commitment to each child. They educate them in middle school, assist them to get into and pay for a great high school, and then counsel them in college. 100% of their alumni have graduated high school ... 100%! It's an amazing school - truly.

This is one of the worst schools in San Diego. If you are thinking of putting your child in here don't waste you time. My son was getting bullied by many kids at this school and the teachers did nothing to stop it. Their school building is horrible. As soon as you walk in the school you get a stuffy feeling. Please do not put your child in this school a public school is better.
